Has anyone ordered and had money taken for 2 or more of these ?

Surely once they've taken your money then a contract has been formed, and is binding on both sides? This is no different to paying for something at the tills and then having it taken from you before you leave the store!

I have just received my cancellation email, and am just trying to come up with the best form of words before replying to them, so if any legal types can come up with the right terminology to help I'd be very grateful! Maybe between us we can put together a response that will get a result. I've seen this type of scenario time and time again on this site, and it's always been a case of "they haven't taken your money so no contract has been formed, it's just an invitation to treat". Well this time they have taken the money, and apparently have the stock, so they should supply the goods as stated. Let's put up a fight shall we?

Ive just recieved cancellation email too grrrrrr, although money wasnt taken out of my account. I did get a comfirmation email.

Just with regards to chandlerscroft message regarding that once the acceptance email is recieved then that is binding I went onto the website and looked at the terms and conditions (section 9) and to some poiont I agree but however when you look at (section 8 - product prices) it does say Asda have the right to cancel all mis priced orders even after acceptance has been verified...... so guess the burning question is would this come under the mis priced category or not ??????:j any help would be appreciated before i ring up to complain

Did anyone actually receive one of them at this price? I just received my cancellation email stating the same as everyone else. If the voucher code was invalid then why did it work, if you tried to use the code for the other tv then that did actually come up saying invalid so I take it the one for this was overlooked and nobody noticed until they got lots of orders.

I got cancellation email as well, totally not fair, might get the newspapers involved and get them some bad press.With asda if anything goes wrong instore or online the customer is never right, they are a right load of tw**s!!
