    Can't you just buy a serial number from Microsoft? Aren't all the required files already on the disk you have?

    I guess they want you to think you're getting something new, rather than something that already came on a disk with your computer.
    To be perfectly honest, I find them much more amusing than the dross that was "I'm a PC and I'm a Mac"
    I think the UK ones with Mitchell and Webb are much better than the US ones.

    But I think the new Microsoft ads are pretty funny too. Acting is a lot harder than it looks, and Gates is very natural in them.
