The lot of you should just disappear. You are the problem, not the bank, you. Think about it do you drive a car and if you do you would never contemplate parking your car in a parking space without reading the T&C on the parking meter. To refuse you move on, to accept you agree. Do you travel on public transport, you only get on the the bus that takes you home. What other failings have you had in life that raided you pocket or failed your expectations. Roll on the next series of Little Britain, you might be in it.

I have again this month recommended Dchurch24 for post of the month I think he deserves some recognition for the advice and time he puts into this thread .

I also think dchurch24 deserves post of the month for all his help and advice, a few have already nominated him.

so i assume i start proceddings or do i wait 14 days or is enough to assume i wont be refunded?

    Yes, start those proceedings!!! :j

I think you can safely presume you won't be hearing back from them again, let alone receive any money!

    Go for it!!

    What shall I do now?

That's a bit sneaky of them to actually credit the £100 to your account ...

I would write back to them giving final notice and stating they have 14 days in which to refund the remaining £1000 or else you will be filing a claim via the Small Claims Court. Be sure to follow that up if you don't hear back from them though!

    Why thank you!!

The cash would certainly come in handy - the BAG site is now starting to hurt my (our) pockets somewhat!!

Was just wondering if i fill in my claim online and am in reciept of means tested benefits do i still have to pay. If not can someone send me the link for the template because there are a couple on the BAG site and don't want to send the wrog one.

If not do i fill in one manually or can i still do it online???

By the way dchurch, did you have time to start on the letter to halifax regarding the manual intervention?? i know your incredably busy so don't think im pushing you!

    Help please

    Carli

Ooops. I will try to get that done this weekend!!
  • I have just sent off a letter to the Halifax about their bank charges on my account I have given them 14 days to reply or I take court action, I have got evidence of them discriminating against consumers and also the paper work on bank charges I really hope they decide to go to court as I have done my research, we will see
  • These banks think we are all stupid, but are they in for a shock. It is them that are flaunting the law not us and its about time we struck back.
