Was told by my SL about old brochures being classed as commercial waste; she told me to make sure they went in the recycle bin so assume that's OK. To date, however, apart from ruined brochures I've tended to use them for canvassing new customers. (The little note I put on the front is probably not as good as Elliebee's:

    Calling all old/new Avon customers!
Avon is celebrating its 50th year in the UK.
Here’s a slightly out of date brochure to give you an idea of Avon products/prices in 2009......
If you’d like to see a current catalogue
(with no obligation whatsoever) please contact me.
All Avon products come with a full money back guarantee and are delivered to your door for the price in the brochure – no delivery charges ever!
(If this is of no interest, please accept my apologies for bothering you and kindly recycle/dispose of the book.)
    Thanks for looking!

Leastways I've only ever had one person contact me and so far they've never ordered anything!

Just got back from collecting my brochures - currently looking like a drowned rat and not one order from my regulars so trying to not be despondent. (Actually, in the lull between ordering and receiving my goods I decided to put the next catalogue out to everyone, who hadn't ordered in the previous campaign. So, basically, 'no orders from previous non-orderers'....... When you say it that way it doesn't sound so bad! ) Did get a few orders from Newbies so guess that's good. Some days it's hard to find the silver lining, eh?

Well I've just had an e-mail from a new customer, as I said in my previous post, was meant to collect on Friday and was going to go out tonight and she has only ordered In Bloom with the free clutch!! Just when I had sent them back last campaign!!! GRR!! I didn't have enough money to pay for my order so had to return them. How annoying!!!

i have a few more books to collect but i havent done too bad ...i only started delivering friday and i have 100 pound worth of orders ...as i say still have a few more to collect.

so glad i put my lil cards in with the boxes to tick if you dont want them again as i seem to have got most of my books back...granted most of them are ticked as not having again (nothing i didnt expect as i used to do that road and only had about 6 people wanting books|) it seems that its easier for them to put the book back outside once than keep getting it so alls good :)
  • I've got books to pick up tomo from my new road so fingers crossed I will have at least 1 order. Nothing to do today but once books are back tomo I've got to put them straight back out again to do the other half of my road.

Brochure 2 is the New Year Sale book, with some of the clearance items on sale and some of the christmas stock. There is a buy 2, get 1 free on make up.

The £5 voucher is clearly marked from pages 38 to 47 and they have the full price column and a voucher price column.

    Avon Magix Face Perfector
    Colour Eyeshaw Quad
    Supershock Limited Edition Mascara
    Liquid Foundation
    Face Pearls
    Face Brush
    Foundation Brush
    Foundation
    Spectralash Mascara
    Eyeshadow Quad
    Lip Liner
    Pro to go Lipstick

That is a list of the products they can use voucher on. From free product to £10 using voucher.

yes they are. Mine were fine, and I can't wear flip flops as the toe post usually rubs my toes badly.

I wore mine all summer and lost weight on my legs, so much it was visible and bought some more.

You should have returned yours to avon under 90 day guarantee.
