All this talk of territories may just give me the push I need to go and re-canvass! Although it does depend on the weather of course... I think there is an avon lady in my area (besides me) cause the local hairdressers, pub etc all order from her (I already enquired)... so just leaves me the houses converted to flate then! :D

Know what you mean. It also spurred me on to cover a street I was given as additional territory but was reluctant to do because they are all shops. Had a few No's but 11 potential new customers (ranging from 'maybe/will leave it in the staff canteen' to 'oh, yes please - been wondering how to get hold of an Avon book!') Needless to say, the latter reaction is such a great boost.

Also decided to hand out my back campaign books to anyone, who didn't order last time, which means they'll have a full week to look at it and I get to hopefully pick up some orders for the next campaign before receiving/handing out my current order.

Happy bunny! Just put in my largest order yet. :j Will ask again, are the figures some of you are quoting what you're invoiced or credited with re. Presidents Club?

  • Looks like you're right - despite being quoted as 10 for £1 in the last two HT's, when I put my order in it confirmed 5 for £1

Still no idea if they're worth having but my order is due next week so will find out soon enough! :D

    Hi
I have been reading this thread for a little while and thought it's time I say hello. I would just like to say that this is a brilliant forum with some really fab tips. Thanks to everybody that is so helpful and encouraging fellow representatives.

Regarding the question whether the planners are worth it, I am not 100% sure that they are worth 5 for a £1. Had they been the 10 for £1 I would've said no problem. I've ordered 7 packs of these (before I realised they were 5 for a £1) so that I can put one in each order delivered for C1.
Some people might dissagree with me but that is just my opinion.

    xx

Thanks koeksister, yes, that was my thought too i.e. a little pressie for everyone. Still time to order some more if they look OK. Maybe Avon will reduce them as we get closer to 2010.

Aparently the annual planners are 5 for £1. I cant remember where i read it though!

yes they are 5 for £1, it was an amendment on my invoice details, the page you get with updates and amendments to brochure prices.
