Hiya - I have just spoken to my area manager (in Kent - I am in Nottingham!!!) and have got my welcome pack coming tomorrow.

It was a really bad line when I spoke to her, was just wondering how they allocate your area?? We are on a new estate and the road/postcode is not on many maps and the postcode is only really recognised by Royal Mail. Have left a msg for the manager, but was just wondering.

When we moved to this house I asked Avon who my local rep was but received a brochure and instructions for ordering on line, so I have assumed there is no rep in my area so I am free to canvas where I choose close to my house????

If they HAVE correctly identified where the house is and given me just the area I was thinking of canvassing, can I also canvass other roads which they have not allocated to me, provided that I check with my manager first that they are not already being canvassed?

Hey everyone! I am going to deliver my last set of cats this evening when I get in from work and then celebrate by treating myself to fish and chips and wine!! LOL!
I have had an order from someone for a couple of camps now and they always say they have no money but defo want the items (I have said this before) and so I text them the other day saying I have to give the items back in a few weeks and I have heard nothing. Again I stand to make no money on this camp - damn Christmas presents!! So will need the order to send back (£27!) so I don't pay with my own money. They are lovely people but it is a business.
Still got some orders to deliver too, most people are broke until pay day - tomorrow, thank goodness!

also if i do my own round do you think i should recanvass all the old houses or just stick with what it says in my calling book had ordered before?
hoping to make a few pennies for my hol next year :)..oh thats if i dont spend it all :)

With your account being left open the territory should still be yours if you haven't been told otherwise - might be worth double checking with your SL but they only normally take it off you if you leave.

As for recanvassing - I'd say give everyone who ordered before one of the current books, and then start working your way through the other houses with the previous campaigns books - that way you aren't paying out extra for books when those people might not order - but worth recanvassing as some people will have changed circumstances and with it leading up to christmas more people are likely to order.hth
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

I've just found out on my delivery date no one will be home bwteen 11:30am - 4:30pm, I've asked Avon if it's possible for them to ask the courier if they can deliver outside of that timeframe... as anyone requested something like this before?
I have no safe place to leave my delivery and work each day during the week so don't want to delay orders especially with me being a new rep!
