hevab, chin up. I have had to request replacements for an ex Avon lady and she was telling me the earrings she ordered, didn't have purple stones. They do, but it is so faint in the picture, you can't really see it. I just told her it complemented her skin and looked fab with the matching necklace she has ordered.

With the lady and the mascara, just give her the mascara, and return the whole replacement bag with the empty mascara. She might have already used some of the other products.

I had a regular customer return the spectra lipstick, as it was a lipgloss and not a lipstick but she has kept ordering after this and sometimes big orders. So it is like any business, we take the rough with the smooth. It is like us going back to the stores, saying I have changed my mind about this dress, I don't really like it.

Laura, I became a Sales Leader in C16, as I needed the extra money and really wasn't going to get it through customers and territory.

My SL started 3 years ago as a rep. She is now an Advanced Sales Leader and makes enough money to put food on the table, food in her fully stocked cupboards and pay some of the bills.

I would recommend Sales Leadership, I think it is fab watching your team grow and nurturing them, and watching them making lots of money too. It is great for letting you work at home, your own hours and still having time to spend with the kids.

My SL has 2 kids, a husband, a house, does Usborne books at Christmas, volunteers with NCT, and a hundred and one other things. She told me Avon for her, now runs itself.

why don't you contact her AvonNewbie, and just ask nicely if she wanted to order? She might have a reason, ie she is waiting for the next book or saving her pennies for sales.

If it is to do with her order being messed up, offer her a free gift as an incentive for ordering... ie a shower gel from the clearance in HT. ;)

I have sent her a text message asking her if she would like to order but heard nothing back. Only text her cos she wasn't answering her phone

I have given her a free gift both times she has ordered as the total's have been so high each time. I will pop round and see her this evening and see what she says. An order from her would really help this campaign

But can I ask about stopping for two campaigns? Can you take a long break like that without being deemed inactive?

You normally become Inactive after three campaigns, but this is extended to four during the shorter campaigns at the beginning of the year.

Just done the first street which I was given.... and collected all the books (mins about 6 who weren't in/didn't answer) with no orders :(

I got to the end and a man said they already had a woman come round and do the Avon. I said I'd been told to do this street as no one was doing it, he said well someone does, because I know her personally!

Grrrrr. So text my SL asking for another street instead! But this woman must not do my street which is the next one over... the woman who DID do our street dropped our old order off without her number or the next catalogue... so I think she's stopped now, which is why I decided to become a rep mainly. Don't know if he means her or someone else!

Don't despair Gemma, when I first started the exact same thing happened and I rang my SL who told me a local rep does have a few scattered on my turf, although I had been told "she does the whole road so you're wasting your time"! I found out who she does and I made a note not to deliver my books there, so don't stop canvassing. Also if you know people have had reps that don't stick around I'm not suprised you don't have any orders, just keep going and they'll realise you're different and start to order, esp with xmas coming up. Don't get downhearted it may take a while but you'll get there xx

The bag and the mascara came to me on the bus today after i mentioned it on here (i must not post so early in the morning!!) Its simple when you step out of the box.
