You don't have to miss out a campaign, it's only cos I'm not going to be here. I don't want to miss it out but I really need to get away!!

i know i don't but i'm thinking whether it would be worth doing all of them as they're going to be two week campaigns plus i'm wondering if people will have the money to buy stuff-and the fact that things are always missing

i was out of town on Wednesday ( CLIFF concert) and when i got in @ 2.30 yesterday morning there was a card through my door-avon carrier.parcel left in green bin so i looked.well i have 2 green bins and 1 is empty so where did this silly sod of a driver put a box? yea in the rubbish bin.had to empty the contents as the box was lifting.for those of you waiting for immediate replacements read on.on the 23th of last month i requested one and the day after i told them that they'd missed an item off MY list.today i received the single item ( asked for on the 24th) so i rang them to ask where the other packet was and the guy said it was sent on the 28th!!!!!!! how the bloody hell can they run a business like that? the muppet in India ( most of them are ok) was so annoying and i felt like banging my head against a wall.i was explaining everything to him and he was asking ME the dates when i asked for replacements.

I think with 2 week campaigns, it is easier to stagger your books with territory, don't have them all on same book at same time or skip a book with them.
  • Well I'm having a rubbish campaign. I am on a 2 week campaign atm and after canvassing 3/4 of my territory I have 2 orders!! I have one lady who usually orders over £100 between her and her friends but her order was messed up last time and I haven't heard from her this time. Was looking forward to another decent campaign for spending money for a posh dinner I'm going too

hi 69chick - can you explain how you don't get full commission on the bargain packs? (I'm a new Avon Rep too). Is it just the bargain packs or all the items in the sale leaflets?

    Thanks v much!

Hi Westedge...If you look in your Hello Tomorrow book there is a page that lists 'fixed discount items' they include sale stuff, bargain packs, branded gear like bratz/ben 10/morgan etc. for example the £10 bargain packs show my commission as 87p each! my customers have also ordered antler bags from the sale book and they are quite low too....

Lindsey80 I have just noticed in my C17 brochure that I was flicking throuhg, there is an offer that if customers spend a certain amount on make up on several pages, they will get a free mascara and a £5 voucher to use against make up - this voucher is to be used in C2! Just thought I would mention it so you can perhaps get a few of these books for any customers that get a voucher and then you could order on your C3 one I guess....

Loved the muddy boots idea :rotfl:

why don't you contact her AvonNewbie, and just ask nicely if she wanted to order? She might have a reason, ie she is waiting for the next book or saving her pennies for sales.

If it is to do with her order being messed up, offer her a free gift as an incentive for ordering... ie a shower gel from the clearance in HT. ;)

Well hello everyone. Haven't posted for ages but just finished delivering most of my C15 orders.

Received my delivery on Wednesday. Couple of items 'to follow' but knew that was a possibility as they were flagged yellow when I ordered.

It was DD's birthday yesterday, so told customers I'd be coming round today. Did a couple of deliveries this morning to my neighbours. One chatterbox/nosey old bag, who rarely orders, but when she does she always has a debate over whether she wants the item. All this debating, whilst she's asking about the neighbours and slagging off our Sworld consultant "there's NO WAY she's a 12" - classic.

Anyway, had to take my Dad out for the day as he's staying with us (lives in Cyprus) and when I got back from the afternoon school run I bagged up my C16's to give to phase one of my territory. Well nuts whole hazlenuts I managed to write the delivery date for C17 on the bottom of my customer order forms instead of C16 - donut! Anyway, should anyone order (and I hope they do as a lot of them are regulars) I shall have to drop a note round with the revised date. Wishing my life away huh?

Rest of orders delivered this evening. Was a bit worried as it was getting dark and was out in the car with DD, 8 and DS2 who's 5 as DH had a scout meeting. Was concerned that some of the elderly clients wouldn't want to open the door, but managed to catch most people in and only have 4 orders left to deliver now - think that's the quickest I've ever cleared my delivery.

Anyway, ramble over. Onwards and upwards towards those huge Christmas sales (hopefully!).

  • Can you guys let me know your thoughts on becoming a Sales Leader.

I have been asked by my ASM if I would consider it, however I have a full time job (Will be made redundant in Dec/Jan time) a part time job which is 15 hours per week 4 nights a week and I also do Bodyshop at home and Miglio jewellery.

I would like to start working for myself more, pref as a sales leader for Avon once i'm made redundant but i'm not sure that i would be able to afford to. I could always take on extra hours at Next to increase my income but I may need to start looking for another full time job. I don't want to give up Avon though cause I love doing it as it allows me to get out more and spend more time with the kids. The money is nice but I give some of it to the kids as pocket money for helping with the rounds.

Ahhh.... sales leader?!?!? yes or no?

    Thanks in advance.

Im not having the best Campagin this time round :( First one lady says her mascara is empty which is was, so i email avon asking if i can just have a replacement mascara, they say yes but now they are sending me a whole replacement bag so now i have to go back to her and say i need the whole bag bag back after her giving me just the mascara.
Another customer says her eyeliner box is empty so now i've got to email avon again to get me another replacement one, this lady used to be a rep and i think they are the worst customers as when i got home i've got another lady who wants somthing returned as shes not keen on the colour anymore.

I wish things to be simple but they never are hey :)
