Lyndsey, your note is great. But can I ask about stopping for two campaigns? Can you take a long break like that without being deemed inactive? Getting your order delivered while in London would be too much of a hassle I think and it's the last thing you want to worry about on your break away, I mean imagine if it doesn't get to you for some reason or another?
If I were you I wouldn't tell them you are away, just mention that you will be unavailable during those two campaigns (work commitments or something) like you said you don't want to advertise that you are away.Avon Rep
C8 - £417.09, C9 - £613.14:jC10 - £378.18

C14 - £194.36, C15 - £300.910 -
I am only missing 1 campaign (C2). I am postponing my journey to London and going on 23rd so need to get my deliveries sorted on delivery day (22nd) and starting with C3 on 10th January - should maybe put a full stop there as I just re-read it and it looks misleading!!!0

You don't have to miss out a campaign, it's only cos I'm not going to be here. I don't want to miss it out but I really need to get away!!0

Hello, just wondering do any of you have really nosey customers.
I just delivered to a regular who lives in front of me, she always invites me in while she mills around looking for change even though i always carry change with me whilst delivering. She asks me so many questions!! Whats your brother and sister doing now? Your parents must be so proud! What are you doing? What are your parents doing? Hows college? What do your parents think about that? Hows avon going? Blah blah, it lasts like a good 20 mins. lol. My mom gets annoyed that i tell her everything, but i dont want to stand there like a mute. I dont mind a little chit chat but not when it gets sooo personal. Its not like shes a lonely old women either shes has a son and husband. My plan next time is to bombard her with questions so i get no more asked about me and my families life lol.0 -
My SL told me she was taking Jan and Feb off as she has been working so hard, and boy has she! She is now an Advanced Sales Leader. She told me about the "Live Your Dream" weekend, where one SL made £140,000 through recruitment and bonuses. So it is there to be made....
I know you have to tell your SL that you want to take time off, and I think they still charge you for 1 brochure, each campaign that you take off, but think as long as you let your customers and SL know, you can be ok for 2 campaigns.
Unless, you are lucky enough to have a kind friend who is happy to do deliveries, and picking up books while you are away.0 -
skint_student, I don't have any customers like that. Mine like to chat, but just chit chat, and not heavy duty questions like that, either....
Your mum is right, don't give too much info away and yes your tactic is right, bombard her with questions, maybe about what she thinks of different avon products, to stop her asking.
Maybe you should be prepared with change in your hand when you get there, knowing she never has exact money, so you can pay and go?0 -
Or go with really muddy boots on so she doesn't invite you in! I take my dog with me to "those" customers! lol0

Just picked up from my territory (1st time canvassed) and out of 19 books actually collected (from a possible 40 odd ) I have got 3 orders totalling £87 so not bad....one of them has ordered £51.50 worth but it includes 3 bargain packs!! I only hope they are ok as I have heard they are not all that great!...and also I know I don't get full commission on those either
Was quite horrible picking up the books in the rain, but luckily my bags have kept them all nice and dry
hi 69chick - can you explain how you don't get full commission on the bargain packs? (I'm a new Avon Rep too). Is it just the bargain packs or all the items in the sale leaflets?
Thanks v much!0
