Well what a palava I've had today!
Firstly my order arrived yesterday but I was in work so they left me a nice card to say they attempted delivery.... so I rang them this morning and asked them to re-deliver to my mums address (I can pick it up from there after work)...they did but my mum was out! So I had to get her to arrange to leave it with a neighbour until she got back.... all because I work during the day! :)
the trials and tribulations of Avon..... :)
However I was worried in an earlier post cause it was 7 boxes; it's actually 5 boxes, 1 box of catalogues and a separate item (the tealights from HT16)....so I still need help carrying it in the house!

I found out from my SL, how ASM's decide how many customers we should have per street..... the computer says.... that the take up should be 25% per street.... so if you have a road with 8 houses, in theory, you should have 2 customers.... as if it really works like that....

Hmmm in a nice world maybe!

I got given my first street, average sized street say 20-30 houses, and I'm told I'll get orders of £133!!!!!

Well after being really nervous about it, I have delivered 2 of the 3 orders for my new customers...the first lady was in yesterday just after school and was lovely....the other 2 were out so I posted slips to say the amount and that I would be back today between 5-6pm...1 wasn't in (at5.30) but the other was (a guy!)and again really nice, had the money all ready :D so thought I would pop back to the other lady tomorrow, but she called me tonight to rearange for tomorrow and again was lovely! I don't know what I was expecting though, some sort of weird bunch of people who had either forgotten they had ordered/changed their mind or put an order out for me for a laugh :rotfl:

Anyway it really has given me a confidence boost (strangely)...I am out collecting brochures from the rest of my territory tomorrow.(around 50 houses)..I just hope I get at least 1 order....I would be quite happy with that!

Now tomorrows challenge for me is to knock on the doors that don't leave out my book..although at just after 9am I expect a lot will be at work....do you guys leave a note then and call back say early evening?

Sorry for all the waffle :o

well done 69chick. and it's true, the more you do it, the more confident you get.

I just put yellow cards through their door, telling them that I called for the book/order and could they leave out, on (I tick the day) and will be back to collect it.

Vistaprint through Quidco, seems to have gone upto £6 cashback? My order has validated at £6... waiting to see if it pays out in december.
