Well I am really peed off!! Got my additional order, customer ordered £47 worth of stuff so I added bits of crap to make it up to MOV and loads of stuff had sold out so it's under MOV so no commission!!!! I'm not even going to make any money now, so going to have to see what I can send back (money maker In Bloom plus other things I have) so I'm not out of pocket!!!

    Right..does anyone remember this:

    knocked...no answer

just got a text from her saying shes sorry but shes had to go away cause of family problems and she still wants the stuff so could i hold it for her for 2 weeks? i said i will talk to the sales leader and see what she says...so instead im asking YOU...what do i do?

shes a good customer and i dont think shes making it up. i dont mind holding it for her but the only thing is that i need to order my next batch of stuff on tuesday night...and delivery will be the following monday. I would return it and re order it but im running two campaigns and her orders are from the oldest one so by then i wont be able to order it for the same price....please someone give me some suggestions.'

    well...

Still nothing from her! I kept the order as suggested by someone, did it as a credit but then didnt send it. called her, no answer. Text her and explained i could keep it for about one more week so to let me know as ill definately be sending it back this time if not. No reply. I even saw her out shopping but you know when you take someone out of context and dnt quite know where you know them from??...that happened. she looked at me sheepishly and then after i realised i could have rugby tackled her there and then lol

I dont want to knock on her door again because i have a feeling ill be fobbed off again and taken for a mug and im just not standing for that.

    so...what would you do?
do i have to re-credit it even though i didnt send them back? or just send them back with my next delivery?

    the end lol

Oh dear, that sounds like a bit of a nightmare, a shame when she seems to have been a good customer.

If you have already requested a credit, you just need to send it back - you should be able to print the returns form from My Orders - Order Tracking, if you haven't done so already...

I actually came on here to ask a quick question about the kids shampoos etc... Have I missed something, or have they completely disappeared??

A friend has book 15 and said she couldn't find them, and I have just looked in 15 and 16 and haven't come across them?

I don't think there was in C15 as a customer had to back order from C14, not sure about C16 tho. Shame as it's a good seller!!

  • Hi girls :)
i love reading these posts, ive found it sooo helpful as an avon newbie. i was really really nervous about posting my brochures etc incase someone came out there house after me! haha, silly i know, but ive now posted approx 60 books, im picking them up 2morrow and praying i have some orders!!! pretty nervous about knocking if theyre not on dorrsteps but i made some really friendly notes i printed and put inside saying date id be collecting etc so fingers crossed itll be fine :)

anyways, i question for you guys...
i understand your total order must be above the mov to have the discount apllied... what is included in the total order though?
is it just items out of the campaign brochures? or does it include anything i order from ht magazine? if it does does this mean i get my 'discount' on ht items providing total order is above mov...?
i hope someone understands my question lol, not sure if ive worded it correctly ! lol

thanks in advance ladies :P xxx

    Hi kimbobimbo

I'm only on my second brochure and I had exactly the same question as you did.

Your MOV is made up of EVERYTHING you buy:
Items from the brochure (at their retail/customer sell price not the discounted price you pay Avon)
    Brochures themselves
Literature/Sales Aids/Samples that you pay for
    Demonstration products bought from HT

You have discount only on the items from the brochure and as also helpfully pointed out to me some items have a fixed discount amount below your percentage - all these items are shown in a list in HT and include things like licenced products i.e. Ben10/Bratz and the Bargain packs amongst other things.

Hope this helps and good luck

I don't think it goes as low as this very often, so being about moneysaving, better to buy 12 bottles of shampoo and 12 bottles of bath foam, saves me money longterm.

I will be getting lots in...have 3 kiddies myself and I think at the normal price it is a bit expensive (Tescos equivalent is usually better value ) so at 99p its a bargain!!

Do many of you guys get stuff like this in as 'stock'? I expect it is easier to do this when you get regular customers and you know their likes - many years ago my Mum did avon and I used to deliver some of it for her...one of our neighbours absolutely loved soft musk and whenever I delivered to her she would always spray it about a bit lol....
