Well I have hit HOV so I am really pleased as I was really struggling at the end of last week. Only 2 of my regular customers from territory have ordered due to the delivery dates being so close together but that was expected. Just got to keep my fingers crossed that I make it next time as well

I heading out shortly to collect my brochures, fingers crossed everyones nice and leaves them out for me with lots of little orders i only have 2orders so far!! argh lol

Good luck kimbobimbo - I am going to deliver LOADS of cats tonight, bet it starts raining when I get in!! Feeling positive about Avon at the mo, despite LOSING money!! I think the key for me is preparation! I spent the eveings when I got in from work this weekend prepping, just a few more to do and I will have 3/4 of my territory done! Am aiming to get it all done in 1 week eventually, gives me more time for customers and stragglers. Got all my deliveries to do too!

Well i don't know what's wrong with the Avon site but it just would not let me add on one final order before i sent it off to them. I had to leave it off. Very annoyed.

I contacted the self employment people on the tax site...sorry brain in mush mode at moment, and can't think. Oh yes HRMC site, and they have free courses for being self employed. I have registered and am going this fri and next thursday.

They teach you about what you need to keep for accounts, what you can claim for, percentages, etc.

Maybe you can look into this too?

Im a bit upset at the moment, avon asm first of all put c15 books through my door to deliver and told me the orders had to be in for last friday i then contacted her by phone for something and she then told me the orders have to in Monday (today), she then came to my house to sign me up last thursday only to tell me im not supposed to be on c15 I should be on c16 but she did not have and c16 books. So i had given out a few c15 book so now I had to give them the c16 books and tell them the order had to be in Monday but she then told me the order does not have to be in until this friday. I havnt bothered telling my few customers that thought I best just keep it to myself becasue I keep giving the different info.

Also when she was at my house on Thursday she told me she does not think anyone is assigned my street and she would ring me that night at 9 to confirm I can deliver in my street, I am still today waiting for that phone call.

Maybe I should have signed up through a sales leader maybe they would have been more willing to help.

Anyway sorry for the rant I was just so excited about starting Avon, Im now not so sure.

sheena, don't be downhearted, hun.

ASM's have a really, really, really hard job to do. They have their job to do, have to recruit Reps, think it is 2 a day or a week, can't remember exactly, and produce reports, have team meetings, etc, etc. For what they get paid, think it is a lot of work and one I will not sign up for.

She doesn't mean to be unhelpful. If you PM me your postcode, I can have a look at your details if you like. I can tell you your dates for your orders. I have to go out now, but will be back in after 6pm.

I have just been bit by a customers dog!!! I went to deliver some orders to customers i havent been able to get hold off. So i finally got hold of a customer, it was an order of £42 pounds so i was pleased when she answered the door and she was excited that it arrived. Then her cute little daughter opened the dining room door to which a excited dog flew out and pounced on me and bit my arm. The women was really apologetic offering a plaster etc. But i was just in shock so i said i was ok and i would see her soon. It has now devloped into a big bruise and i got blood all down my fav jacket and white canvass bag. nice! lol
