    Hi everyone!

Just got back from collecting my brochures, and received a grand total of 4 orders! I have to admit that I was a little disappointed, although one person told me they have had a very high turnover of avon reps so is reluctant to order until she knows I will stick around - same old story! I collected 52 brochures and got 4 orders, that's almost 10% which is what I got overall last campaign. In total this campaign I have collected a total of 104 brochures in and have received a total of 18 orders, which is double the amount of orders I collected last time so I should be happy with that! That's a rate of 17%, so that means out of every 100 customers I have, 17 placed an order.

C15 I collected 57 brochures in total and received 9 orders which is a rate of 16%, so it's consistent so far with a 1% increase, maybe I can increase it to 20% next campaign.

Sorry about all the stats, just makes me feel better! ;)

The good thing is I have £313 in orders with 2 more to come in before I place my c16 order on tuesday, I am very happy with the overall total.

  • Hey all,

have been following this thread and the old one for a while and just wanted to give fellow S/L a bit of support!

I started as a Rep in camp 13 and a trainee S/L in camp 13. I was an official S/L in camp 14.

To date I have 21 reps (would have been 22 but someone had debt to avon a few years ago at a previous address).

At first it was a bit daunting but as I have had more appointments and more people it has got a lot easier!

My biggest tip is to have meetings with fellow S/L and ASM in your area code to discuss territory and speak about concerns and problems with people who know exactly what your going on about! I meet my ASM and fellow S/L once a week (a Friday morining) to discuss everything that has gone on in the week and work out as a team how we are going to progress our businesses. Any problems are sorted and we can all have a good weekend and start fresh on Monday with a clear mind.

The only thing I would have done differently was built up my own Repping round first as I had to battle to do both at the same time! Finding customers is hard enough without finding and supporting new reps aswell!

Not sure if any of you use the Avon forum but as much as I find it very informative but there is a lot of people grumping about not being able to get reps, as far as I am concerned with everything in life you get back what you put in.

Althoughg I am happy with my reps my S/L hunt is still going but I'm sure there will be one around the corner!

As my ASM says, if you have belief in something you will make it happen.

If anyone has any questions or any help with anything just email me and I will be sure to try and help as if I hadn't of had the help and support of my collegues I would not be as positive as I am about S/L.

Sorry for ranting on lol, Ally x

Put calling cards out and have managed to get 6 books back tonight :D still about 9 missing though  the more books i get back the more territory i can get done before order day ... have 15 days to go, about 110 houses to do and about 35 books (if I get back the ones I put out last nite when I collect on Tuesday night)

Hah! The girl who has been stomping my territory is in for a shock. This time she has taken orders (and stolen my books) but not delivered the goods to people  I have a vague description of her from one lady, plus I found one of her books my first campaign, so I know who she is, but I have no solid evidence so my ASM can't take it further.

Well, on Monday I recruited a rep from my own territory (she is taking territory on a nearby estate, and has fallen victim herself to this horrid rep) so she is on the lookout. But even better, I have a street where everyone knows everyone and they have all become protective of me as 'their' rep in the space of three campaigns (giving an honest opinion, ordering offers for them when they forget and giving the odd freebie all go a loooong way). They have started an impromptu neighbourhood watch to catch the other rep out and have devised their own round-robin system to email the street's orders to me! :rotfl:
  • Good luck silver charming....
    A quickie please lol

dont think so - camp 16 would be ordering from ht18 and back ordering from 15 or ht17?

    Evening everyone.
Got a few more orders in today so my total now stands at £96.75, not much when i look at some of your order values but i must remember i've only been a rep for 5days. Having no joy with my territory. Lost loads of books had no orders from the few who put their books out n i still cant get hold of my asm for anymore. Desperate for some new roads to try. Will keep at it tho.

    Hey girls,

i was just wondering how long you leave your books out for?

I'm recanvassing my new area and am putting out my books tomorrow (wish me luck!) I am going to pick them up on Wed morning after I have dropped off my little girl at preschool. I would usually leave them out for longer but I have a big area with 50 books.

Do you think thats enough time?

    Thank! ;-)
