How would I find out who my ASM is? I was never told and I really want to get some more roads. If I phoned Avon would they be able to tell me? Sorry if I'm being dense, I guess I should have asked more questions in that 10 minute meeting I had with my SL!
If you tell me your postcode I can tell you who your asm is.

Sparkly, PM me your postcode and I will get your ASMs details for you.
Your SL should spend an hour with you at the first meeting, and an hour for three more meetings, although the material is repetitive so if people are okay these meetings aren't always held, but I expect to do two at the minimum, plus informal chats to see how things are going. I guess I'm lucky, most of my reps have become people I see socially as well, but ALL of mine know they can (and do!) approach me at the slightest trouble, or just for a chat about how they're getting on.
Mel, that's good for you! You can now go out repping in complete confidence!
Johanne, I think you'll be fine on the credit score!
Kat, Dreamy and Blackwidowz, good luck on your first appointments :grouphug: You're right, it is scarier with someone watching, but ASMs know that and they understnad. Actually I've only ever done one appointment with my ASM, it was about my fifth or sixth as I recall, and even though I fluffed everything she still said I did well. I'd inserted my own little bits into the spiel to make it more my own, she loved the added touch and said there were a few bits in there that she didn't know! ASMs are human, they won't mind, and the new rep has no idea if you do mess up, so easier said than done, but just try and enjoy yourselves!0 -

It feels good when its doing something you enjoy.
Make sure you get yourself a small treat.
Oh I've got 2 small treats - the Perceive gift sets for £5 in HT18 clearance!
I customer ordered £78 worth of stuff! I thought I'd drop a 007 sample in her bag, but also wanted to give her something extra as she'd spent so much... then thought, she's just buying stuff, I shouldn't spend a fiver of commission on her! After wrangling for a while longer I got some of the Avon cotton pads and buds as she'd bought make-up. I know she'll use them and will also be reminded of Avon every day!0 -
I usually get the face wipes, they will always get used too.
No one has complained yet..lol
Just noticed how bloomin heavy the c17 books are..

The woman that signed me up is useless! I've met her once - when she signed me up, I've spoken to her once on the phone - I had an issue with my first order and she was less than helpful, luckily I mangaed to work it out for myself. I've texted her a few times and rang her but got no response. Also, she only gave me 7 copies of C14 (my first campaign) and then I had to chase up the copies of C15 that I should have got straight away. I want more roads but I'm not going to go knocking and risk stomping on anyones roads, although I'm 99% sure no one does the roads I have in mind. I even complained to the woman that rang up from Avon HO who asked how I was getting on.
Sorry for the rant, I just want to expand my mini empire!:rotfl:
That's really annoying, oooh if I had a useless SL and knew she was getting commission for doing nothing..
Do you know who her AM is? Maybe you could complain to them. Apparently you can find out who the AM is for a certain postcode on the Avon website, but haven't tried to use that function myself yet.0 -

You can only do this if your a sales leader, I think, Lyns.
I use very few samples. I prefer to buy a full-size and let people try it, then send it back.Bit naughty, but hey, its within the letter of the law. Customers seem to prefer it that way too.

It goes from bad to worse....
Just got back from collecting my C16 brochures and out of my road of 36 houses only 3 people had left the books out - all the rest were either out, couldn't find my book or gave me it back in exactly the same state I'd left it - in the bag with my newsletter, order form and delivery info sheet still in the same pages I'd left them in.
Luckily ONE person made an order for £24.50 otherwise I would be crying my eyes out by now. After all the work I put in to the newsletter and the fact that I went out with brochures during the week after my 3rd 12 hour shift of the week!!!!:mad::mad:
Ok, rant over!
*and breathe*Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p
