I have had the same - my original round over over 100 houses I got one £5 order and lost about 90% of my books. Ask your ASM for more or better territory, then use your old books on the bad roads - put a note on asking people to call, text or email their orders to you. Because they're your old books it doesn't matter so much if they get lost. And put a sticker on the book asking people to tick if they don't want more books then put the book outside - people will put the book out just so you know they don't want more, and you'll not waste your time by bothering them again.

I did all of that - 'you can place orders via phone, text and email' 'simply write your house number here____ if you do not wish to receive any more books' 'I will be collecting books after 10am on Saturday 11th October, please leave them outside your door ready for collection so I don't disturb you'

*smacks head against desk* I give up! I'm only on my 3rd campaign and thought I was doing really well - I was making my higher order total without doing territory and then decided if I've been given a road I might as well do it! Grr :mad: now I don't want more roads incase the same thing happens again!

I found a way to get my ASM to return my calls and answer my texts - sent her a message asking about Sales Leadership and how it works, and how I know someone who wants to become a rep..... She was on the phone in 10 mins trying to arrange a meeting with me next week and I said 'by the way... is there any chance of having some more roads?' et voila I now have 2 new roads - easy when you know how!:rotfl:

Could it be that people had forgot to leave them out as they hadnt left the house with it being a saturday? I know when ive had catalogues in the past ive always left them by the door to put them out when ive been leaving for work - so they havent sat outside all night. Of a weekend though id probably forget!

Yeah, I thought about that later this afternoon, am thinking of dropping a 'It's not too late to order!' slip through the doors of those who didn't leave their books/answer the door saying something along the lines of - you received a book and missed collection but you can still order by phone, text and email. I might even do a book amnesty and let them drop the books through my door.

LOL - not just my lot that are numpties then! :rotfl: I put books through my flats last week to recanvass them.........3 options, just tick the box.....always, christmas only, or never (in short). Guess what - most of them came back with nothing ticked :rolleyes: It's hardly rocket science is it? They're probably the same ones who don't understand arrows in car parks

BTW you may have noticed that with the new website you can only order samples from the current campaign if you go onto the samples, stationery etc. tab. I thought that was a bit cheeky as they are sometimes cheaper on one or the other, so I experimented a bit. If you put them on the main order page, it lets you order from a specific campaign - try it with the skincare samples which are 40p cheaper on 15 than 16 (you can delete it afterwards!).

I did this with the BOGOF fragrance samples from HT16 and it's worked fine

OH helped me deliver another 30 books tonight ... gonna be tough to get round all my houses before order date as I've missed at least 2 delivery/collection trips waiting for Avon to decide if I had a credit limit ... but I shall succeed!! :rotfl:
