The order didn't arrive today

Avon's at a stand still at the moment ... neither Avon nor my ASM have got back to me with my credit limit so I'm reluctant to hand any more books out incase I can't afford to get my next order  If I get the go ahead I'm hardly gonna have any time to get round all the houses I have to do

  • avon will hold your order without even telling you like they did to me after i handed out all the brochures to family and friends and had to let them down, after phoning cus service about 8 times and trying to get in touch with my area manager i was told i'd failed the avon credit and couldn't have a account at all!!!!!

but it's worse.. my mate also signed up as a rep was given about 4 streets
showed books to all her family order came to just over £400
happy she placed order, avon rung and said sorry order wont be delivered
as she had failed the credit (like me) she she asked them could she make a part payment towards the order to get it delivered, they refused and said they couldn't except her as a rep and like me her account would have to be closed  she was livid as she'd really worked hard to get these orders she is know going to make a complaint to avon head office.

so what do u think of that?????

I'm just trying to put in my first order online. I'm trying to order 3 of the moneymaker Bond Girl perfume, but when I put the number in it comes up as 'this product is not available to representatives' - does anyone have any idea why? as I thought that was the whole point!

    Thanks for any help

If you are ordering C16, make sure you back order the money makers to C15. Hope that solves it :D

  • stating the obvious here - you're using the code 45567?? if that doesn't work try a search in the order bit of the avon on-line form - I had difficulty loading all my stuff this time - is it the first time you've been on the new site for ordering? All I can suggets is ringing the customer services - they were very helpful with me
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Does everyone have to be credit checked before they can be an avon rep? I'm getting worried now coz my credit aint too good. My asm never mentioned anything about it either.
Anyway got a stack of orders from school where my friend works. Not sure of total yet (my mate is dropping them off over wk end) but i'm definately in the money making zone. Woo hoo!
What samples are worth getting? I'm thinking of getting the bond girl and ungaro perfume samples while they are bogof. A lot of people have said they like the smell of them so i'm hoping by giving out samples of them they'll want to buy it.
Bit dissapointed with the road i have been allocated, almost ahlf the houses are empty, also someone said they already get avon book. Will have to see if i can change it me thinks.

So we are going through the sales leadership together, at the same time! Good luck. Do you have any leads or appointments booked yet?
I signed up my first one today, I have an appointment to sign someone tomorrow and 2 next week.

Hi mel, I am so sorry, you are definitely not having the best time of it at the moment, I don't understand why they didn't dispatch it when you paid half!! If you asm doesn't get back to you, why don't you try rining avon yourself and asking for your credit limit, I did that and they told me over the phone. Perhaps you can just hand out a few brochures, just to get started

Good luck, I really hope they deliver it asap.

They don't really do a proper credit check, they don't check with experian or a credit reference agency when you sign up to be a rep, my asm said they just check whether you have defrauded avon in the past, and they check things like your age, whether you are married, whether you own or rent, how long you have lived at your address and what i.d you provide. She said that an 18 year old, who has lived in a rented flat for 1 month, without photo i.d who isn't married is unlikely to get an account approved, or they will but will have a tiny credit limit.
