Hi all,
Does anyone know the size of the paper bags you can order? There's 4 different sizes and I don't know which to get?. I was thinking of the small and medium - got a few orders in but not very large. Or would you just buy a pack of each?
I only order the large ones, then you pop the broucure in first with the items on top, fold down the excess bag and you have a lovely little parcelProud to be dealing with my debts

On a side point re: credot checking. I am guessing some ASMs are more thorough than others, as I guarantee that I have the WORST credit rating of anyone on this board. Fiance and I are going through debt management (1 up from an IVA) and have the laregst amount of debt possible. SO there really is no way we should have passed a credit check - and we both have Avon rounds in our names!?!?Kirsty, Taunton, xxx0

PP, I think (though others can confirm) that the medium is just the same width as the small, but just an inch taller. So I'm not bothering with the mediums at all. My AM showed me the difference this morning.
I love my AM, I think I may adopt her as an extra auntie!0 -

I just went to my asm's monthly meeting, which incidentally was very good and informative, but while she was showing me all the sales leader stuff she suddenly mentioned that a credit reference search will be done...
I am in the process of having a CCJ so I am certain I will fail that and have my account completely closed! She said the only thing I can do is to wait for 8 campaigns and then become a sales leader, when they do a search then it will look more favourably if I have been paying avon on time for 8 campaigns and I might have a chance!!!
I am so upset because I have 4 leads already plus my husband, and I was really excited to start next campaign, I even have 2 appointments booked next week to sign people up and now I can't be a sales leader and there is a chance I never will be and I am so upset because I really think I would do so well at it and I wanted to do it pretty much full time, I was so inspired and happy and now I am totally depressed, don't know what to do, just plod on for 8 campaigns and hope when they do a search that they allow be to do it. I think it's so unfair because I would earn them a lot of money.
humph!:(:(

I know it's difficult but try not to worry until you find out for sure. I was really stressed last night cuz I hadn't canvassed but it turned out this morning I was completely worrying about nothing! (I know that's not as bad as your situation but you get what I mean.) As someone else has said, if the worst happens, you could sign OH up instead and do it all in his name until Avon realise what they've got.0 -

To become a rep you don't need a credit check - they do credit 'scoring' to allocate a credit limit, based on arbitrary things like your postcode and your age. They only do an actual credit check in two situations - when you go over your credit limit, or when you want to become a sales leader.
Like I told Kat, I find it seriously difficult to believe that her credit is any worse than mine - I honestly think she should go for it!!!! at the end of the day, Kat, there is nothing to lose by trying. :grouphug: hope you feel better this morning, Kat.
And SP, I am glad your customer is happy - you need never fear she'll buy her makeup anywhere else, ever now! I signed up a girl on my patch last week and my customers were up in arms. They all said the same thing - 'no offence, but I'll only order from you. Don't pass me over!'. Just as well I had no intention of handing over my round, luckily there is a completely free estate a short walk from her with customers crying out for Avon!
Is anyone else on facebook? I may have drunkenly joined last night. It would be nice to add people from here. As well as to make it look like I have actual friends :rotfl:0 -

Cheers Mikiki, that gives me real hope for mine this morning - and all my noobs are placing their first orders, they'll probably think the orders are always crocked. Although mine are, actually :wall:
PM me for my name, I haven't got any more of my info up yet...0 -
HAHA your welcome :P
All my reps have been signed up to the campaign ahead of me so none of them have placed their orders yet
I always find it amusing that items are always missing for the same few customers. Never the nice, we understand customers, but the well I wished I'd never bothered buying your crap customers. My partner nearly wets him self when it happens :rolleyes:Proud to be dealing with my debts
