    Well done CC! :T

Oh, and also figured out why trying to order the moneymaker wasn't working - because I was ordering from Hello Tomorrow 17, which comes out with Campaign 15, it's classed as a back order. So when ordering, changed the little 16 to 15, popped the code in and bingo! Lots of moneymakers coming my way!
    :)
  • You are not allowed to have your own website - they've closed down senior execs over it before - you have to have their sales leader website, which is £5 admin fee then £5 per campaign, which works out about £90-95 per year. And it's a really crap website, plus because it's a duplicate website it doesn't get very high on the search engines. The few SL websites still around are in the process of being closed down. Steph, even if they don't have Avon in the title they aren't allowed - and they refuse to approve any more websites through legal.

It's pathetic, and I told them so.

At the moment though the sales leader personal websites are still free, they say they aren't but they are! Not sure why but there's a thread on Flissy's about it somewhere I think from ages ago :)

I've had 10 leads through my one in last 2 months, only 2 were close enough for me to sign though, but not bad anyway though since I have only advertised in free places!

It is rubbish you can't use the avon name in a site etc or have an independent one especially as all the leads from the official avon site go to asm's!

And although its stephsreps I prefer Stevie lol, you've probably seen me on Flissy's? Keep forgetting to sign my name on here tho oops x
  • Yay have collected a lot of my books in today I have £450 worth of orders so far and still have 20 books out that I will get some tonight and the rest on thurs which is my order day, ordered over £500 wrth last time too, you got to love these xmas books :)

    Stevie xxx:beer: :j :T :rotfl: :D

Thanks Silver too! You guys make a lot of sense - thank you!!!

I am so upset that I might just cry!! :(:(

I just went to my asm's monthly meeting, which incidentally was very good and informative, but while she was showing me all the sales leader stuff she suddenly mentioned that a credit reference search will be done...

I am in the process of having a CCJ so I am certain I will fail that and have my account completely closed! She said the only thing I can do is to wait for 8 campaigns and then become a sales leader, when they do a search then it will look more favourably if I have been paying avon on time for 8 campaigns and I might have a chance!!!

I am so upset because I have 4 leads already plus my husband, and I was really excited to start next campaign, I even have 2 appointments booked next week to sign people up and now I can't be a sales leader and there is a chance I never will be and I am so upset because I really think I would do so well at it and I wanted to do it pretty much full time, I was so inspired and happy and now I am totally depressed, don't know what to do, just plod on for 8 campaigns and hope when they do a search that they allow be to do it. I think it's so unfair because I would earn them a lot of money.

    humph! :(:(:(

Aw, Kat honey don't worry :grouphug:

My credit rating is awful as well, I had a CCJ earlier this year... ask her to try tagging you anyway, our BDM tomd my ASM that it doesn't seem to work the way ASMs think, you should either get tagged in your first few campaigns or wait ages, it actually seems to be easier to be accepted in your first few campaigns - that's why I tagged so fast, and I passed!

If they do refuse you, it's really unlikely they'll shut your rep account down. If the worst did happen and they did that, couldn't your other half sign up as a rep for you?

I would say try it, it seems like a huge risk but when you look at it it isn't really. And if you've worked hard at getting those leads you should at least take the gamble.

Just to check then - if several of your customers orders several items form the relevant pages but dont qualify for the free gift but between all your customers you qualify fr 4 handbags - you can claim all 4 for yourself?

By teh way, rang the lady whoc had quaslified for the smooth mineral make up but didnt write it down. She was sooo chuffed that I had called her, I am popping round on Saturday for her to pick a shade - you were right, she DOES think I am the best Avon lady ever hehe!

    Hi all,
Does anyone know the size of the paper bags you can order? There's 4 different sizes and I don't know which to get?. I was thinking of the small and medium - got a few orders in but not very large. Or would you just buy a pack of each?
