I clicked on the Barclays link today and it seemed to work, if that helps. Thought about paying in some money in advance just in case! But I don't think it'll be necessary as I'll just make the £150 of orders.

AM is coming round tomorrow. Cacking my pants a bit because she said go canvassing and I haven't, I've just dropped.
Thing is (as I'll try to explain to her), I don't feel confident knocking on someone's door and saying "Hi! Buy this stuff! It's great!" when I know hardly anything about the products myself. I think maybe on C17 or C18 I'll knock, saying something along the lines of "thought I'd introduce myself in person, do you need any help with product selection, Avon do money back guarantee etc.", at least I'll know what I'm talking about. Plus I've got a massive zit.:o
Of course if she doesn't take that explanation, I could always be fired or have the extra areas taken off me... may soon be posting as an ex Avon lady :undecided

Just a quick question, have just been allocated a road near me but i've only got 14 c16s and 4 c17 to hand out. Would you knock or just post them then re collect and post remaining houses? Its quite a big road too - over 100 houses so would take forever to post n re collect n post again iykwim. Not sure what to do for best. Any advice for newbie welcome:p
Got my first order too £22.80:D
    £387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
    49.28% paid!

£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
    39.91% saved!

    Make £2022 in 2022 - £20
  • I think with that many books i would have to door knock and see who wanted one.
They are then more likely to buy.

There'll be more opportunities for free gifts. i.e. if you've got 5 customers spending £15 between them on pages 14-39 C16, those 5 customers have ordered say 1 product each, but you've got a free handbag!

Thanks so much for the advice, I didnt even realise that I could order free gifts if several of my customers order different items within a promtion - thanks ever so much! I will definitly make sure I order all the gifts for my customers

Thanks Silver too! You guys make a lot of sense - thank you!!!

Where does everyone else hand there's out? I'm not a gym gooer, or go to many toddler groups. Getting stuck for ideas already.

I'm planning to leave on at my local indian takeaway, they've got a magazine table for people to read while they're waiting, and we go there often enough to be recognised and have a good old natter with them. So will ask if I can leave a book there. I thought if they're unsure I can say to them I'll stick a line thanking 'sponsors' in my newsletter!

    Hi Nicky,
Do you know why you were only given 18 brochures in total? Your sales leader is supposed to give you 20 of your current campaign brochures (I assume you are on c16?) and 20 of your next campaign, so c17. If you are on c16 you will not be able to hand out your c17 yet, only c16 and c15 (c15 as you are allowed to backorder one campaign). So ring your sales leader and ask for more c16s and also ask if she has any c15s spare that she doesn't need anymore, thats what I did for my first campaign, it was easier to cover territory, but my first week I only had 20 brochures so yes, it does take a while to drop them and re-collect them several times over.

I have done a little note to put thru the doors of my customers:
    Dear ……………………………….
    Address: …………………………….
Thank you for your recent Avon Order.
Your order was originally due to be delivered to me on Friday 10th October 2008.
Due to delays at the Avon Warehouse, the delivery has been postponed. I hope to have your order by Wednesday 15th October and will deliver it to you as soon as possible after this date.
For your information, your order total is £…………
Please accept my apologies for this delay and any inconvenience it may cause you.

    Thanks
    Melanie

My ASM suggested saying there was a delay at the warehouse. I will wait to check tomorrow if my order will make it on Friday. It's unlikely but someone in head office is apparently "pushing" my order through  I'll deliver the notes on Friday if I've no goods to deliver!

    Hi girlies (and gents!)

I need some help with a letter I want to attach to my brochures. I've just moved and finally been allocated some territory in a village about 3 miles away which is ok as my little girl goes to preschool not far from there. But in my letter I want to introduce myself, ask if they are interested or not and when is the best time to deliver their order. I've got quite a large area to cover and as it's not local, I want to be organised and not waste my time and petrol going back and forth. But I'm not too sure where to start! I know I'm being cheeky but has anyone got a template or something I could use??

    Many thanks :-)
