Does any one have a code for the BG007 money maker? And how many do you have to order?

ok so after reading everything on here i contacted my asm and she gave me another street to cover. i didn;t have a lot f time left so i only dropped 7 c15 brochures - collected 6 of them but only one order - of over £50!! well chuffed lol!!:j
what i wanted to know is how you work out the savings - all my other customers are orderig from c16 so does any1 know what is cheaper to order from c15? and any freebies?;)
my order has to go through 2moro by 10pm. i hope to have roughly £200 of orders this time round! i am going to order more c16 brochures as well so i can drop to the majority of houses in my new street!0 -
Hi ladies just a quite question. I collected 3 more orders today - over my MOV now for my own round (rather than OHs, no where near on that round yet but still time) and almost at the 25% comissino stage.
My question is regarding free gifts that you all mention. Some of my customers have ordered items that qualify them for a free gift but they havent added it to their form - what do you all do in this instance? Order it for them? Order it and keep it yourself? Ask them if they would like it? Are there other ways to get free gifts for ourselves?
Thanks!Kirsty, Taunton, xxx0 -

In that situation I'd order the gifts and give them to the customer. If they knew they were getting a free gift but didn't realise they had to write it down, it's gonna look bad on you if they have to ask you where it is. On the other hand, if they haven't realised, and you give it to them, they'll think you're the best Avon lady ever and order more stuff.
There'll be more opportunities for free gifts. i.e. if you've got 5 customers spending £15 between them on pages 14-39 C16, those 5 customers have ordered say 1 product each, but you've got a free handbag!0 -
I second Pinzy. 9 out of 10 times the customer just didn't realise that they had to put a code down - don't ever assume a customer has read anything properly :rotfl: As Lynsey said, if the customer didn't realise and you told them, they would love you forever! That is what breeds customer loyalty. Also, if you have any of your roads on backorder (ie on C15 when it is C16) and the item is on offer in the next book, it can be worth getting them the offer - they are going to see the book soon! I did this for one of my customers, I lost 25p in commission at the time, but I have won 3 of their friends as customers as a result - even better, when someone stomped my territory she stuck up for me and saw the other girl off. You really cannot buy that loyalty!
Also, if you backorder to get a free gift, do check the prices carefully as often items only ever really go to full price for promotions and are discounted the rest of the time.0 -

The HT17 (from which you can order in your C15 or C16) code for the BG007 moneymaker is 45567. That code includes the bonus bag. You must order at least 3 to qualify for the £10 price, but you can order as many as you like. The good thing is that they're not charged until C17, so you can find out if they'll sell before then and return them if not. And, yes, Pinzy, you can definitely back order from HT as long as you're on the appropriate campaign. If you look on the cover it will say order online in campaign **, so you can order in that campaign and the one after.
Clear as mud, probably :rotfl:
SP - I'd definitely give your customers the gift. Too much risk of getting caught out if you don't. And, as has been said, they'll think you're wonderful'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Avon can be s***s, one of my girls has had the same thing, her order should have arrived today and didn't, another I noticed on my screen had had her order held so luckily we caught it early enough to do something.
Avon do impose credit limits for a reason, if you see how much money they lose from peoples first few orders you'd faint, but they should COMMUNICATE them to people - before they place an order AND if the order is held. They don't bother though  although your ASM should have picked it up sooner. They get a screen telling them which orders have been held, and also they can easily find out what yur credit limit is and should tell you. In my opinion this is really arbitrary, it is based mainly on your age and postcode and how long you've had your bank account. She really should have told you and I feel rotton on your behalf that you've had to go through this because nobody took the time to do a simple thing.
Your Dad sounds like a star, give him a hug from all of us, but please, Mel, don't chuck it in because of one humungus flip up. You're better than that and the good thing is that credit limits do pretty much go away after your first one or two orders. And anyway, we'd miss you too muchThis is a crappy situation, but once it's dealt with it's gone. :grouphug:
Don't want to alarm you, but if you're on mailplan O I have been told 10am to get the order unheld or it won't be delivered on time  They won't take visa debit over the phone  isn't it great to have a system that works so well? pay it online then PHONE them and tell them you've paid and ask them to un-hold your order then phone back in half an hour to make sure they've actually done it.
But don't take that as gospel - I'm only an SL, not an ASM. There may be a later deadline I don't know about. Like, I tell my girls 5pm Monday, but actually into the evening and all day Tuesday would be okay really, but that extra day or so is my 'panic space' to get stuff like this sorted in good time. Maybe they have a built in 'panic space' too.
For reference, and assuming that account is well managed and paid on time, I'm told that credit limits work like this:
First order limits are done by 'credit scoring' (ie arbitrary decisions)
Second order limit is usually about twice the first order or £800, whichevers lower.
Third order limit is usually second order limit doubled.
After that you credit limit is usually three times your average order.
Eventually it becomes three times your biggest ever order.
All limits are set on a 'you pay' basis not a 'cat price' basis. If you go over, a proper credit reference will be taken. You will then be asked to make a payment - sometimes part of an order, sometimes the full amount upfront
You were right, it had to be done by 10am but ASM didn't tell me this til 9.45am when I was at work
I paid at 2pm when OH's dad had given him the money and he'd put it in my bank. Have just spoke to ASM who said that someone at head office has emailed her and my order will be processed in the morning so I'll probably not get it on Friday (even though I've taken the day off work especially!) but early next week  ASM said I've done really well a) getting the orders and b) sorting this mess out and is going to get me "a nice bottle of wine" ... getting me the correct information would do!
Will only be able to carry on with Avon if my next campaign has a better credit limit. This time I've had to pay them 100% of their earnings which technically makes my credit limit £0.And I can't expect OH's dad to lend me £300 every 3 weeks

Oh mel! I'm so sorry it has been difficult for you.
You actually scared me into checking my own credit limit, as I didn't realise I had a credit limit after the first order. All I did was ring avon myself, they put me on hold while they spoke to credit control and then told me my limit is £500, so that puts my mind at ease. I would suggest you do the same before you start the next campaign, once your order arrives safely.
Take care

Forgot to mention before ... I've paid by Visa Debit twice now over the phone, I just selected the Visa Connect option and it worked
My online payment option however does not work! I've told them the link is broken between the avon site and the barclays secure payment site but they don't seem to care!Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0
