Don't worry Pinzy - we're not all cut out for door knocking. I don't do any at all, and if you're not confident doing it you probably wouldn't come over well anyway.

Never forget that you're self-employed, so as long as you get the orders no-one should be telling how to run your business. If you can get help and advice from your SL or ASM that's great, but at the end of the day, you're your own boss.

Well done Mel - a girl after my own heart.......when it all goes t**s up, just blame it on Avon :beer: The same principle works when you forget to order something :rotfl:

Probably signing up as SL on friday..
What sort of things do you get in the pack?
And what items will i defiantly need to order?

My pack will be delivered tomorrow so I will let you know then. I have been doing SL for about 4 weeks and I havent ordered anything yet. Your Upliner should provide you with everything you need for free for your first 2 campaigns as a SL. Een if you sign up 100 people :P

I went out with ASM today to do brochure drops, had a good day.
Hopefully get some leads from it.

I'm really enjoying it I have 4 members so far and one arranged for tomorrow. But I havent been doing the brochure drops or canvasing much all mine are people I know or know through friends!

I will get around to doing some drops one day :P

Hiya Katchamers, i'd already handed some of my brochures out to friends and family, but i definately never got 20 of c17. Will ring her and ask for some more.
I'm also a regular in my local chinese. Never thought of asking to leave one there cheers Pinzy for that idea.

The pack is really disappointing. It's just a minging navy bag, a sales leader business guide (binder), the agreement, and a DVD about how great sales leadership is. That's it as I recall. GL all those getting their packs though; you can't become an SL without one!

Well I'm still an Avon lady and not only that, my AM was very impressed with my ideas, and the "Missed You" / "Thanks for Order" slips I'd printed up, so big thanks to all of you! :T :beer:

I've said I won't be a Sales Leader until I've completed house move / job move etc., but hopefully will start in November - just in time to recruit some reps ready for Christmas!

Luckily I seem to have a good AM, she's quite happy to take me round with her when she's canvassing, and will take me along to rep sign-ups. Plus has given me some extra orders from areas she's canvassed, which she's given me to caretake, just to keep them hot until she's got a rep in that area! Phew!
I also got told all the advantages of one stop selling, which I may start at C18, should know who my customers are then. We'll see how things go. All in all, feeling pretty fired up again!

Hope you guys don't mind me typing my every thought on here, but the OH is already getting a bit glazy-eyed when I'm talking about Avon!

ok so im in work & the boss is out so i've just started to put my order through..... estimated order total so far is £243.23!! plus i have to get a few more order 2nite!! plus all my items are in stock - only one with yellow circle!! woo hoo!!!:beer:

so all these tips paid off girls!! thanx!!! and i didnt get a chance to do the sensible ordering thing sum1 mentioned previously!!!

am i the only one who loves the new website? waaaaay better than the old one!!!:T
