I will be ordering 10 packs of books for c16 and c17 which I believe is quite a lot...my territory is 160 houses 40 of which I did for c14/5 and already around half a dozen have ticked the box to say 'they don't want to see a book' but from those 40 I got 3 orders totally £54 which I am pleased with especially as I am new to it and they don't know me!
my target is £100 worth of orders from my territory for c16 and I wanted quite a few books so that I can be out less dropping/collecting . am a bit nervous about delivering to new people next week, but hopefully that bit will go ok and get easier...I think I also will go with the idea of dropping a note through this week saying when I will be delivering and the order value etc.Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
I got a phonecall today from the 1 delivery I have left and she doesn't have the money again and won't have for 2 weeks!! I can't afford to pay it from my own money tomorrow, it's for £27!! Wish she had told me sooner as I could have paid it last week. So if I put a credit in online tonight I can pay tomorrow minus the £27 to HSBC over the counter and then put my delivery online that night? I have to work Thursday evening now so want my delivery out the way tomorrow. Then if she pays up in 2 weeks give her the stuff and waitfor Avon to recharge me - is that right?0

So my area manager finally got back to me with my request for more territory
She sent me a list of streets but at the side of each street there was a number and a value and i'm not sure what they mean? Any ideas?

Just a quick question again regarding my incentive (free AT shampoo or conditioner with a spend of £20 or more) do any of you think I should decrease the order value to get the free gift? I was just thinking that as I am canvassing my territory for the first time...will it put people off to think that they need to be spending that sort of amount? just a thought I had...what do you think?
As you know from our correspondence I have done mine at £20 from the beginning and what I've found is that not everyone spends £20, but it still encourages people to spend. my last campaign I only had 4 customers with orders over £20, qualifying for a free gift, but I also had quite a few with orders about £15.
what you need to remember is that the "free gift" comes out of your pocket.
I worked mine out on the basis that if I got 4 orders of £20 each, reaching MOV that my commission at 20% would be £4 from each order (presuming that none of the items were on set commission) so a gift costing me upto £1 was reasonable as I'd still make £3.
however if you offer a free gift when they spend £15, then you are effectively only making £3 and you are giving away a 1/3 of your earnings.
I'm sure you'll work it out for yourself, I simply thought it might help if I explained how I do things :money:Missysx

it could either be the number of houses in those streets or the number of orders they predict you'll get from those streets, and the value is what they predict the orders to come too.Missysx

Great, thanks for that. That's what i thought too but wasn't sure. Very odd that they would be able to predict that though. I'll give it a bash and see how i get on with the new territory. The awful thing is most of it is flats and i find it nigh on impossible to get into the buildings to deliver/collect catalogues - anyone else have trouble with flats?0 -
My only trouble with flats is the stairs - 12 stairwells with between 25 & 40 steps each
Fortunately OH helps out with some of the top floor ones. Popular thinking is that it gets easier, but after 2 years i can confidently say that it doesn't...or is it just that i'm 2 years older'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Could someone who hasn't yet submitted Campaign 15 give me the code to order the gold Ipod. I was in too much of a hurry to get first order done and I forgot. I am submitting 16 early as I will be away on holiday can't find the blurb about it on the website now.
