Thanks Aureol212 I know I should be pleased, but its just that you see so many big order values on here and I had hoped to get more, but I am at least hoping I can build on this in the future....(I will probably get less in C16 now and be wishing for the £128!!!)
Maybe I should make it spend over £15 I will not be losing any money, I can then see how I go and maybe do another one for over £20 later..
Re ASM my lady is lovely, but is meant to be sending me a customer list of my territory (that she got from the lady that finished) that was a week or so ago so might have to chase her up...Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
Hi I am new to Avon and I have just competed the form on Avons website to become a rep, I was just wondering how long it would take to get hings going. Also it does not say much on the website about how much you have to pay and how you get hings going so just wondered how it all works really. This forum was one of the reasons for giving me that extra push for thanks for that guys.
Also i work full time so how does this work with receiving deliveries as i am out from 8.30am to 6.00pm mon to fri.
Thanks in advanceNew Avon Rep

Hoping someone can help...
My friend at work wants to order a bra but is not sure about size. If I order different sizes then will they all be at the HT price?it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:0 -
Hi Princess Loki,
if you order multiple sizes of the same bra from HT, they will charge you HT price for one and full price for the rest.
But as you will be returning the rest of the bras, once she is happy with the right fit for her, you, in theory, should only be charged HT price.
But I am not sure. Maybe someone else will come along who knows better than me.0 -
Hi Sheena and welcome to the world of Avon.
To answer your last question, you can have your Avon delivery delivered to your work if you have access to a car, and can take it home again, and your employers don't mind. You can have it delivered to a safe house, ie your parent's, a neighbour who is in all the time, a friend who is in all the time. Or if you have a safe place that is easily accessible by the delivery driver, ie a shed with a lock, you can request it is left in there.
Someone should be in touch with you soon, to arrange an appointment to come and see you. They will explain the whole process to you, how to order, when to order, when deliveries are due, they will ask if you want territory or are just going to do friends and family.
Avon has to be paid before you submit your order, for your order that was delivered, otherwise they will just hold onto your delivery until payment has been made.
There are 4 ways to pay Avon. 1) Fastrak, where you phone an Avon number and give them debit card details and amount you wish to pay - Avon does accept credit cards. 2) At the Post Office but they charge 50p Admin Fee. 3) At an HSBC bank, 4) Online through your Avon account, but you cannot do internet banking, you can only pay by debit card.
The Sales Leader(SL) or Area Sales Manager (ASM) that comes out to see you will bring you 2 sets of brochures. One will be the current brochure and the second the next campaign. You have to pay £15 administration fee, for the setup, etc with Avon, but this is taken in 2 instalments over 2 campaign, £7.50 each.
For each campaign, you need to reach a minimum order level (MOV) of £78, this includes items from the Hello Tomorrow(HT) magazine exclusive to Reps , and books, customer sales. Once you reach £78, you receive a discount on the customer orders. Anything below £78, you don't receive a discount.0 -
Oh and you need to register as self employed for Avon.0

Sheena, as far as I am aware you pay for your order between when it is delivered to you and when you want to place another order...so not actually in advance...
Hope that is clear
am just placing my first order tonight but I don't need to pay anything yet....HTHStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
Hi Sheena, you only pay for your order once you have received it and collected the money from your customers, because you may have customers that refuse their order or like me, deny ordering stuff....lol.
Sorry, I might not have made it very clear. But you do have to pay for the orders received before you place your next order, otherwise Avon won't send it out. Does that make sense?0 -
thanks 69chick and Sheena, just reading back and I was VERY unclear! Sorry about that!0
