Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

Hi, I was just wondering if I could ask for all your opinions on a special offer I am thinking of doing in C16..
It will only be my 2nd campaign and I have ordered a lot of books so that I can hopefully do my whole territory this time (about 160 houses) as only managed about 40 this time (lack of books)..
anyways I have made up a coupon that says 'Free Advance techniques shampoo or conditioner for orders of £20 or more' and given them the page number of the £1.25 shampoo/conditioners to choose their 'free' one...
Does this seem like a reasonable idea? I was thinking it might encourage spend + it may be a way of getting them to try the AT stuff and I thought could lead to further orders of it...
I would appreciate your comments on this as I am very new to Avon...
Thanks as always for all your great advice and tips on here :TStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
Hey there
I'm getting ready to submit my 2nd camp orders at the end of this week and I've found that in C15 the big sellers were the stuff in the 99p store so maybe in the run up to christmas you could use this as an incentive as a BOGOF as well? That may boost your sales a little more, I was thinking of doing that in my C16 (but I haven't seen the brochure yet!)
Do you find the Haircare sells well already? or do you think it needs pointing out to customers? I find Avon make-up people know about, and i've already had people say they're looking forward to the christmas gifts (so avon have a good reputation for them!)... if you find the haircare stuff sells well then let me know as I may have to use your tip on some of my customers!
Good luck luvely

Well done hellsbells45 on your orders so far for your first campaign! With more to come as well! I think that is excellent, I really do - us Avon newbies appear to have picked a great time to join:D

Yes ladies, you have definitely joined at the right time, leading upto xmas. The people who know Avon know about the xmas brochure so more likely to spend.
I find the hair products sell well, brushes, intensive conditioner, straightening spray, etc. Think people like them and cheaper than branded ones.0 -
Well, C15 doesn't seem to go too well for me so far, just picked up books from one of my territory and a lot of my regulars haven't ordered (most books were left out for me) although two will give me their order tomorrow. Have £252 in orders so far. Still got the other territory to do but it is far less than normal so far.
So - I WILL go into some local shops tomorrow to offer them a book - I've got to, to get to my usual total:oLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

oh, and with regards to confidence - I am also very shy and don't really like nice sunny days because that's when people are in their gardens and will see me when I drop their books. I prefer cooler or rainy days, that way at least I 'think' nobody sees me sneaking to their front doorLBM 31/01/2009: £19,422

A quick question : I wasn't in on Friday when my delivery was supposed to come. I tried in vain to rearrange the day to today but Avon weren't having any of it & there are no neighbours in to take it for me, anyways, my question is this... should it come today then? Ta!0

purpledonnamode, did you get a call from Avon telling you that your delivery had been left at a safe address or that it would be redelivered?0
