Hey everyone,
Well I am finally off the mark. I have rec'd 2 orders. This campaign took a while to get started.
I'm looking forward to my 1st order arriving today, unfortuanately I'm at work, but I left a note for the delivery person to put it in the shed around the back. Hoping there wont be any problems.
I'm moving house next weekend and I'm a bit worried about future orders. I'm moving to a flat in a small block. There is no-where outside for the avon order to be left safely. I could have it delivered to my work, but i don't drive and currently walk 2 miles to work, and don't fancy carrying big orders 2 miles home up hill! I have ran out of holiday for this year so I cant take time off to stay home for it. after xmas I can though.
Does anyone else have this sort of problem and what do you do to over come it?
Nixnax
I am at work all day too and could get the courier to leave the delivery in the shed but I felt safer having it delivered to my friends (who is a rep as well) who lives in the same street. She works from home as well as doing Avon so is in all the timeshe's a real sweetie! she was the one who got me off leaflet delivery jobs and onto avon - I wouldn't look back now!

Thanks! I might knock a pound off, I know it's not a lot but some people might be swayed by it. What camp do we get charged for it?0

thanks guys, unfortunately all of my friends have also moved out of the area I live! HMMM.
I also don't know any other reps in my area. My OH drives, i think my other option may be him picking it up direct from the couriers.
Thinking about it my OH doesn't start work to quite late most days 10am and after. I could see if the delivery people will make me one of their 1st drops or something.C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -
Yeah just give them a timeframe that they have to deliver in.
Or do you have a bin cupboard or something similar?0 -
I have a lockable small brick shed that he could leave it in but it'll be full of my OH tools and I'll have to give them a key for it. I don't think he'll like that
We do have some shops just across the way, I wonder if they would accept the orders for me>?????? bit worried about leaving it all with strangers really.C14 £129, C15 £126 , C16 £442:T, C17 £290, C18 £215, C1 £1200 -

If I was you I would arrange to collect direct from the courier, I have my shed as the safe location, but as you it is full of expensive tools!
I know my depot is close to my MIL's house so I'm hoping that if it ever comes to it they may leave it with her for me!
Hope you manage to find a solution!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
Hi All
Did anyone else sign up for the £30 telephone offer. I have just printed off my invoice and it's way higher than I was expecting and can mainly attribute this to the money maker offer (as well as goodies for myself oops)
When Avon called it was this guy with a very strong Northern Irish accent talking really really fast. At one point I actually asked him to low down because I was having trouble understanding him. In the end I just said yes to get him off the phone and didn't have any idea what I was signing up for but expected to be charged in later camps like previous money makers.
Looking at my invoice - I could probably only sell three or so items which are included so it probably isn't worth keeping. Can I pay my invoice minus the £30 and send it back next time or should I just keep it and swallow the £30 and try to sell the items? Any advice?
ThanksLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

Hi There,
If it isn't worth you keeping it I would send it back & minus £30 from your invoice!
No point in buying stuff you cant sell on, but with xmas coming up you may be able to sell it?Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
