Well, your obvious advantage is getting it early so getting it to your customers early. You could print a leaflet about the perfume and staple samples to it to give to your customers to let them try it (saves wasting a bottle, unless you want to keep it yourself)
Offer them £x off (make sure you're still making a profit)
Offer them x% off
The main thing is to let them all know about it, let them all try it and go from there0 -
what about a special promotion i'm not sure how much the in bloom was in HT, but how about you offer it to your customers at discount price say like £1 - £1.50 off brochure price, you'll still make money on it just not as much?
or a flyer telling them about it?
apart from that i'm stumped...
Re: the products i'm getting... ok my total is £106 summit pence at the moment...the product is £2 in the book and is £1.40 in the HT book.... can you help lol..

Hi All,
I hope you can help to make my mind up about something.....
I've been doing Ann Summers parties for nigh on four years now and I'm so fed up of people cancelling their parties, people not being in when you go to do their party (believe me it happens!) and generally sales not being too good recently that I've considered giving it up and doing Avon. I don't know anyone who does it to get advice but I do know that I don't seem to get any books from people around in my area nor do people at work seem to get anyone delivering to theirs so there may be a gap for me to do it!
With not knowing anything about it and how the commission thing works, I don't know whether to cut my losses and give up the A/S parties or just keep on going if I can make more (when the parties do go ahead!)
Anyone made the change from party plan to Avon?
Thanks in advance,

Well you'd be getting 20% on your order, on that specific item thats 40p (if you'd hit hov you'd make 25%, so 50p). By buying it from HT you're making 60p so :T Because that £2 isn't effecting your commission, you're good to go with the HT one0 -
Thanks for the comments about the customers... it sounded really angry and stuff.. and they didnt see me.. so i dont know?!
Maybe i just took it wrong way as im having a terrible day
Feel really rubbish.
I offered my customers the in bloom at £12 and included a sample with their books...and sold all the 3 bottles id ordered on moneymaker.... meant i only got £2 commission a bottle but i doubt id have sold any at £16.0 -

oh Joanne. Best to just ignore them. They might have been having a bad day themselves, maybe they had been arguing and then spotted the Avon book, and just continued with their bad angry mood, when talking about Avon and delivering it to your house.
I'm sure the comments were not aimed at you, they were just having a bad day and that is the way they normally speak, using profanities.0 -
Can someone clear this up for me...

any help appreciated
thanking you kindly
