nixnax, don't you get recharged if there are items missing from your order. Depending on the size of the items, they usually get sent out in a jiffy bag.
  • I am at my usual last week slump!! Can't be bothered, tired from the week at work!! Hopefully will try and collect some cats this week to send to my last BIG road, never have enough to get round all of them!! Keep ordering more and more cats per camp to find an even keel.
Will get motivated as I've not hit MOV yet!!! Still got 1 delivery to do and I need her to have the money this time as I can't afford to pay for the invoice otherwise. She tells me she is struggling with money and her hubbie gets his "big money" on Tuesday, it's £27!!! Need to pay in the PO Wednesday as order day is Thursday. Does anyone know if I pay into HSBC will that get to Avon quicker? I could of course deposit the cash into my account and then pay over the phone - cash is instantly into your account isn't it? Will that be the best way to pay Avon? Just worried that the payment doesn't show up and then I can't place my order as I have a "debt" with them.

    Hi Lyndsey

big hugs to you and here is some extra spirit to help you deliver the books and get tons more orders.

I used to put the avon money direct into my bank account, and then pay by debit card over the internet. It usually showed as credited to my account the next day.

I opened a HSBC account, a basic one but they wouldn't give me a debit card for this one, so I had to withdraw the money and pay the Avon bill at the counter. That was credited the next day. So either way you should be able to pay your bill in time. :D

If you do either way on Wednesday, it will be cleared on Thursday and you will be able to place your order knowing you are getting it delivered.
  • Thanks! I have an account with HSBC, not that it's ever got money in it!! LOL! I'll pay over the counter I think, at least I save on the 50p admin charge!
When do we get charged for the In Bloom Money Maker? Will it be this camp? If so then it's typical that it will probably be on my worst campaign!! Don't want to send them back as I MAY sell them in my next camp - how long can we keep them for before we can't send them back as I also bought some mascara and that 8 in 1 palette that I thought would sell and haven't! Think that was a couple of HT's ago, think they're due to be sent back now.

Can't help with In Bloom money makers, I never buy these things as don't think they will sell for me.

But that's why I opened an account with HSBC, thought why should I pay the extra 50p each month?

    Hi Lyndsey,

I paid my invoice the same day as I placed my order this time due to having loads of items missing from the delivery so by the timethey re-sent them it took ages to complete my deliveries!
My order still went through ok, paid it online & it showed as cleared the next day!

I always seem to have a slump! This time around I got all my books ready to put in with deliveries & ordered enough books to do it in 2 drops, managed to have the best campaign ever & feels like I did the least amount of work!
Might be worth trying if you have a large teritory?
My delivery due today, Hoping to get it all checked & bagged this afternoon before kids home from school! But got 20 units arriving, so has to be at least 12 boxes of products! - Just hope everyone will be in for delivery over the weekend!

Hope the Lady pays up on time for you & i'm sure you will get your motivation back!
Could you set yourself a target for your sales & promise to treat yourself if you do it? :D

  • Thanks! I am trying to find the right amount of books to buy so that I can get round twice, at the moment I am delivering 20-30, about 3 times, and each time you get a few books less, people want more time to look, plus my regulars. So once I know how many books I need I will feel much better. I have done almost all my territory now, it's jsut a case of getting the cats over the weekend and delivering Monday to my last road and collecting Wed for ordering Thurs.
My best 2 customers are away and I still have a couple of regulars orders to get back. I'm sure business will pick up again soon, just one of those campaigns unfortunately.
  • I must admit for the last couple of campaigns I have only delivered books to regulars. Had been getting really fed up with Avon so wanted to do the minimal amount of work. I do intend to do a sweep of customers this campaign though as I think sometimes customers like to miss Avon for a while, I am hoping it might bring in a few more customers this way! Plus it is getting closer to Christmas so maybe people might be thinking along those lines.

  • I bought the multi-stranded silver heart necklace for myself out of HT and then I have only seen it in one brochure since. Does anyone know if they have stopped selling it already?!
