Oh johanne that's awful. Poor you. You shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable so I agree that you should report him. Probably makes sense to go directly to the courier company but also inform Avon too. Sending big hugs your way.
Congrats on the Associate PC status - well done you! Hope you day gets better.
Thanks everyone for the info re: the bags. Might order some just to see what they're like.
Just had a phone offer 6 x skincare items (rejuvenate, solutions etc.) for £30 plus 'free' bumper bag of goodies like shower gel, room sprays etc. Like a sucker I said 'yes' - what am I like??

i really dont know what to do.... ive been in tears on and off all morning. Part of me really knows i need to report it.. but im scared of being ignored afterall was my word against his.. and its the fact he knows where i live etc.... and that im alone with my daughter.
my ex has offered to stay over nights i get my delivery from now on and go the door for me but this wont be able to happen everytime cos hes currently looking for a new job so may be at work!
I dont have a great relationship with my ASM, just the odd email since she signed me up...... i worry they wont be able to change my driver etc as it would be alot of fuss for one person.... what if im ignored? How would they explain to the courier? Surely he'd know id reported him then..
Think i really need to sit and think about this.. I really dont think i could face knowing hes coming to my house every 3 weeks though0 -
I got thew new Avon calling cards and they have changed. It says come to collect your brochure or deliver your delivery, which is a lot better than last time and there are tick boxes for what day you will come back.
Hi Lyndsey,
Is there anyway you can scan them or something for us to see please?
Thanks, Nicola.0 -
Joanne that is awful. I think I would have ended up laughing at him or saying something rude.
Why don't you just say to him next time that you are not interested and that you didn't appreciated being propositioned. I would also report him to couriers and avon. They couriers should definately listen and as someone else said people may have complained about him before.
Hope it sorts itself out xx0 -
Hi Lyndsey,

Thanks, Nicola.
They are the same style as the old ones, still yellow, same size etc. They have the Avon title as before then it says:
I called today to:- Collect the avon brochure (please leave outside if more convenient)
- Deliver your order
Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun
Thank You your Avon Representative
The days have a tick box under them and are written in the large comments box with space to write a small message. They are only 60p per pack so quite worth it.0 -
Hi all,
I just rejoined as a rep after a "rest" of about 3 years.
I've been given territory that was given to a new rep about five months ago. The previous rep took orders, got the delivery, but never delivered to the customers and didn't pay Avon either
So I'm on territory that has been let down by the last rep.
Do you think I should write a note to introduce myself or just drop the books and see what happens? My ASM said I could do either.
Johanne I think not only should you report that driver, but if I were in your shoes I would borrow a burly man friend to answer the door with you next time he delivers. The fact that your babys dad wasn't doing what he was supposed to doesn't mean you don't have a man in your life0 -
Johanna-
That is very tough situations to be in but do you not have a safe place where the driver can leave the delivery. Like for me it is the porch and the driver just leaves it there, so I never see him. But if you don't then I think you should just say to him that you think what he said before was inappropriate and if he does anything like that you are going to report him. Show him the strong women you are!!!
And you where definitely not in the wrong at all, so don't beat yourself up about letting slip you where on your own. Don't worry it will all work out!!0 -
Hi EssexGirl,
I would type out a simple note saying "Hi I'm the new Avon rep for this area etc."
I did the same thing with my territory which had been served by the same lady for the last 21 years! It was nice to retain the majority of her clients (her territory was split 3 ways) and also pick up a few newbies who hadn't ordered from her before.
Good luck. Once they know that you're reliable and turn up when you say you will, it'll be plain sailing.....

Hiya!
When I 1st started I just put on where my contact details were
'Hi I'm Kelly, Your new rep!'
Id say just stick to name & phone number & if you can keep a seperate number for work thats better!
I originally put my personal mobile number on & address but have now gained a couple of unwanted callers!
Good luck with your teritory!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
