I wouldn't worry - so long as you haven't done avon before and left owing money, then it is very unusal for you not to be given credit. I've signed people up who don't have bank accounts or credit cards etc and they have been fine. They take into account other things, like the kind of area you live in, how long you have been there, if you rent/mortgage, married etc but even if its no to a lot things (as is the case with most of my reps) they have still been given credit with no problem xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Just asked on a Sl forum about asm signing up over the phone - and apparently in some areas they will do this as standard - so possibly she isn't bending the rules lol so don't worry! xAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

hi all, great to hear of stories about being avon rep. been one for about 7months now and enjoying it, although not the rain and wet book saga but thats another story. the question i have for existing reps is about paying tax. for the most recent tax return i just added up all the invoices that avon had sent me to get profits and costs. i figured this would be easier than trawling through masses of customers orders etc just wondered if this was ok? do i need to keep customer order forms? help! thanks c x0

Hi Lyndsey,
It was having techinal problems last night, Have you managed to submit your order?
I think your ASM can let you submit it a day late but you wouldnt qualify for the free sample things if within the 1st 6 campaigns - well thats what my ASM told me!
Hope you managed it anyhow!Avon C11 £751.22! C12 £722.42! C13 £651.93! C14 £1180.37:j0 -
OMG the sign-up has to be done face-to-face!!!!! Regardless of how far away your are, are you sure it is the area manager???? As area managers shouldn't be that far away even from the furthest part of their area I don't think. Could be a SL, we can get struck of for that - your ID has to be checked and you have to sign a form, which needs to be done in person!!!!
No they don't have to be face to face, there is a section on the website that says 'online appointments', its perfectly legitimate but obv not as easy for the new rep due to book problems and id checks etc.
