    Hello

Wonder if you could help me? I someone who could be a new customer ask me if Avon still do the Skin So Soft products that are often used as insect repellent as well. She is looking for the spray and shower gel, I think it used to come in a green packaging?

I was confused a while back when I was looking for it, with the new packaging. I think they're calling it "original" now. I'm hoping they havn't changed the formula at all

I feel so guilty!! Meant to be collecting some cats this evening but really can't be bothered. I have been like this for a while, not collecting when I say I will. Will have to apologise and explain to them that everything is a bit rubbish at the moment, job hunting and working all the bloody time! Still got 1 delivery too!!! Am trying not to let it get me down as I get depressed about stupid things like this!!

know exactly how you feel - i sometimes get stressed and unconditionally anxious about delivering orders / collecting books and then each day i leave it it gets worse. now i only deliver on a sunday or at an agreed time after work. this helps as does planning your weekly treat for just after (mine is a few beers) so i get them on the way home. then after my mad couple of hrs sorting books or orders and knocking doors i can enjoy my beer knowing i did my best. also, if people are not in just put a note through (you can download them from website) so then they can't complain that you didn't try and deliver.

having a regular day to do things really helps because then all of my best customers leave books out or have money ready which makes things so much easier :T.

you must try to keep your chin up and remember that they are just normal people with screaming kids, cooking and washing to do.

(many a time i have to give myself a good talking to before exiting the house but it is never as bad in reality as it is in my head :o)

    loki x
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

Thanks loki, it makes me feel better knowing I am not alone. I tend to just do Avon in the evenings when I get in from work, have weekends off, feel a bit fragile today after being in the pub last night so this doesn't help!! I only have to collect a few more then that's me done. Once I'm out of the house I am fine, but as I have done NOTHING today it's hard to get out and do something!!

If I get this job I had an interview for last week then it's shift work so will have to work out a new system. I am hoping I will have more time on my hands to concentrate on it as the new job is less money!!

Some customers do make a comment when I am a day or 2 late but once I explain I work full time too they understand a bit.
  • hugs Lindsey we all get like that, i was today as delivered 40 books to new potential houses last thursday ready for collection today but forgot its bank holiday, lots of people not in but did get 3 new customer orders and only 4 dont want/already have avon so was pleased, still got to go and collect the others but put notes through to say id collect wed or ring me .

    Hi Denise,

HT run 2 ahead of campaigns, So as you are on brochure 15 you should have been given HT 17, Having said that you can back-order demo items from HT but not clearance items.

You can view HT online, go onto your order page, press continue, this should then show you the 2 HT you can currently order from, dont worry, this will not send your uncompleted order, there is a seperate button for that!

  • Hi folks, hope everyone is well? Had a really lovely bank holiday weekend, me and oh took the girls up to birmingham and visited the national sea life center and the cadbury world factory... great fun and free chocolate, what more can you ask for on a bank holiday?!
I have set my sights on the presidents club, and was wondering how many of you lovely ladies have hit that target? do you just cover your territory or do you leave books anywhere else? I have heard mention of people leaving books with hairdressers/libraries/pubs/doctors/dentists...
I'd love to but I get a bit anxious about approaching people to ask - does anyone have any hints or tips for how to get their books out?
if you had one piece of advice for new reps, what would it be? mine would be to stay positive as it can take a while to get started but will be worth it if you put in the effort!!
