Yep, just write everything into that -the same applies though with their being one copy to go in the box, and the other copy for you to keep x

Cool, thanks very much for that. I think I've got the hang of it now. Lucky I could find the barcodes though :P It was touch and go for a while there

Lol! Everytime you put through returns they'll send you another sheet of them - so after a couple of times you'll have more than you can shake a stick at lol!

Had an email from Avon saying the returns department have now received my recharged products and my account will be updated before my invoice for Monday's order :T

Then OH took me out to collect brochures I was meant to get the other day and I found someone has been delivering to my territory ... but they live at the same address as a girl that orders from me   i';m very confused lol

    Hi

I like the idea of a prize draw to try and draw in new customers, desperately trying to boost my customer base.

I am signing up as a Sales Leader, but need to find my first signup. I can't afford to pay the £35 for Fliss at the moment, and not sure I can afford to put ad in paper, am going to ask all my friends if they know anyone who wants to be a rep, but is there anything else I could do for free? I know you can do the door to door bit....

What type of items do you offer in the prize draw?

I find a prize draw is about the only incentive guaranteed to make people order! I enter every order, regardless of value and make up the prize from what I have in the goodies box. This time:

    Nail enamel (freebie)
    Anew Clinical Laser (Incentive prize)
Incandesscence EDP (obsolete - received as incentive prize a while back)
    Bronze Sun Protection Stick (freebie)
2 x Anew trial sizes (part of freebie bonus bag)
    Astonishing Lengths Mascara (freebie)
I may add a £1 shower gel or body lotion too if I'm feeling generous ;)

I also use Freebie Handbags or toiletries bags with a few bits inside.

i have been reading this thread and have a couple of questions. Sorry if these have been answered before, i might have missed them :o

I am thinking of doing avon, the girl that i used to buy stuff from has seemed to have gone awol.

I last ordered stuff from her at the start of the year. then two times after that she collected my orders but didnt deliver the goods, she has done that twice now  but it has been about 4 months since i had a brouchure .

Would it be ok to take over her area? How would i find out if this would be ok?

Also she wasnt very good when she did come round. i never knew when she was coming to collect the brouchure and i didnt know when she would be bringing the goods. So it was rare i actually had the money ready for her. She never had any change. It was a truely bad service. i would have told her to naff off but i really like the avon products and thats the only reason why i carried on using her.

I am an efficient person so would i know exactly when the products would be delivered so the customers would know when to expect me?

I am really unsure whether to do this as it does look a bit more complicated than i thought it would and i didnt realise that i would have to pay for the brochures and bags

    thanks for any advice :)

    Hi Sammiboo
Awww - don't be put off by how complicated it looks on paper. It's a bit like writing down how to turn on the light switch - easier to do than to put on paper :D
I've been doing it a couple of years now and really enjoy it. Even after buying my brochures & bags I usually clear £75 - £100 per campaign, although obviously you need to build up to it.
If you do decide to go for it there may well be a Sales Leader on here happy to sign you up, but if not, then Avon will put you in touch with someone. You would be allocated an area to do - possibly your own if it's obvious that it's not being done properly or not at all. You can also do 'Family & Friends', so that covers anyone who asks you for a brochure (shops, clubs, workplace etc)
Yes, you'll know the exact date (& time) your goods are being delivered - you would have a set delivery day once every 3 weeks, and most of the drivers deliver at exactly the same time each campaign (mine has never been more than 1 hr. out, and is usually within minutes of the same time)
Don't expect to make much for the first couple of campaigns, especially if people have been let down by someone unreliable, but prove yourself and the orders will start to come in. If you do decide to give it a go then I have loads of hints and templates that i'll happily send to get you started - PM me your email addy when you're ready.
The sign-up fee is only £15, payable in 2 instalments from your first 2 campaigns, and you would be supplied with 20 books FOC for each of the first 2 campaigns. Go on - give it a go.........cheap cosmetics and toiletries for yourself too ;)

thank you - that is really helpful. I'll get my OH to have a look at this thread when he gets in as he is quite keen for me to do it :)

So expect a PM later today :D

I think I was put off mainly because the girl before did a really poor job and because she now seems to have stopped i thought maybe she wasnt doing that well???

It could have been that she was just lazy lol, and couldn't be bothered to put a bit of effort in! You'd be surprised how many people think they will make loads of money immediately - but obviously you have to "prove" yourself to customers, which you obviously realise having been at the receiving end of a poor rep! Whereabouts are you based? I'd advise signing up with a sales leader - I applied through the official site and so joined via the area manager. Some of the managers are great - unfortunately mine isn't!!! If you joined with a good sales leader, you'd get a lot more support than you would with an area manager.

Is there anything else you are wondering about? No question is silly - when I first started avon earlier this year I asked no end of questions as the others on here well know lol! :D
