Don't expect to make much for the first couple of campaigns, especially if people have been let down by someone unreliable, but prove yourself and the orders will start to come in. If you do decide to give it a go then I have loads of hints and templates that i'll happily send to get you started - PM me your email addy when you're ready.
The sign-up fee is only £15, payable in 2 instalments from your first 2 campaigns, and you would be supplied with 20 books FOC for each of the first 2 campaigns. Go on - give it a go.........cheap cosmetics and toiletries for yourself too ;)

Dont believe it - she has just delivered a brouchure

With a bit of paper saying normal services have resumed. I hope not because normal service was rubbish...

She hasnt said when the order will be delivered either

Really gutted about that - looks like i wont be a rep afterall :(

Ah right ive never used a book, i would just stick it in one box and put both barcodes next to each other on the outside.

Kay, thanks. It's easier that way, I'm returning loads of stuff and I thought I might as well stick it all in an avon box :P

Hi pinkcoxy, if you click on the user name on the lefthand side, it will bring up a small box with options. ie view public profile of pinkcoxy26 and send a private message. Click on send a private message (PM) and it will open a new page with a big box and you can write your email address in the main box with anything else. You have to put a subject too.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for this , a great help x x:T

Don't give up that easily ;)

There may be other areas nearby which aren't covered and in some ways it's good not to do your own area as you wouldn't get people knocking on your door. Why not find out what is available, or perhaps do Family and Friends for a bit to see if your other woman gives up (again :D)

  • Haven't been on in a while, Avon isn't doing too well and am getting a bit fed up if I'm honest! How is everyone else going?

Anyway I wondered if anyone would have any info on a couple of products? A potential customer showed me two Avon products called Be Bronze, one a self tanning mousse and the other a face tanning cream. She swears they are the best products she has used and wondered if Avon still stock them? She reckons they are about 3-4 months old, but I have never seen them. Packaging is a bronze colour and she is looking for medium to dark skin tones. Anyone know where I can get my hands on them?

    Thanks ladies

Just looked at my C12 invoice online and my glam boxes are STILL not coming :mad::mad: I bet by the time they turn up my customers don't want them anymore and I have to send them all back (theres 7 of them!)

Also a few other items are out of stock and will be sent as and when they come back... Not happy about that.

But otherwise can't complain as I have had very good C10, C11 and C12 order wise. Am now looking at becoming a SL, have registered on Flissys for some ideas and inspiration. Need to find a few people to sign up  My ASM also told me about signing up OH once I have found a few other people and putting the mayority of my orders through in his name so that I earn a few extra pounds on them :T

Will see what C13 brings, have £85 in orders so far, and still have 18 days to go :j

    Hi everyone,

C13 not going too badly so far. Have £225 of orders and am delivering 25 brochures today to the second half of my territory. Will be collecting them on Friday so we shall see what they bring in terms of sales.

A lot of my regulars appear to be away at the moment, so am trying not to order too many things for me this time or my commission will be virtually wiped out! Too many goodies - that's the trouble. Will definitely go for the Reese Witherspoon MM as I have a couple of ladies who I know will definitely buy for Xmas gifts, plus I'd love to keep one for me!!

sammiboo - the lady that used to do my street and surrounding area was pretty useless too. When she retired I took over the territory (SL stopped me in the street) and a couple of other roads and I haven't looked back. I'm very organised and always tell people when I'm coming back for the book and when delivery will be - something she never did. They all appreciate this, plus the fact that I bag the orders (she used to use old envelopes or nothing at all!) and order samples should they want them. I'm sure there's other territory that you can do, or as someone else suggested, just do F&F to begin with. Good luck.

They were discontinued in about C17 last year.... they occassionally appear in the clearance... (i know cos i have a customer who loves the face tanning cream so i stock up whenever i see it)

You could try contacting avon themselves... dunno if they could help but you never know! Or theres a couple on ebay but they are quite expensive. The mousse was £8 and the Face Cream was £6 and they are going close to them prices on ebay!
