I know when I used to do territory when I was a teenager,
I used to when I ordered stuff ( pen and paper orders lol )
I used to write their name and amount on a bag ( depending on the size of order obviously ) and then write for instance
Karen - £15.00 - 4 Items + Freebie
Black superlash mascara
Nude Pout Plump Lip Gloss
Frizz control Instant recharge treament (4 in pack)
SSS Dry Oil Spray Blue
Freebie - Naturals Body lotion
Once I had wrote out the bag, I took their copy and added it to the bag
along with any samples I was giving
and put my copy in a separate bag for referring back to I kept all the orders in a bag per campaign.
Then when it came to making the orders up on delivery day
I just needed each bag as the description is enough to make the orders up.
also means less paper work footering about on the day.
Also if I get any money spinner offers or buy anything cheaper that I think the customer will like I add the offer to their bag on a printed out card.
Like...
Dear Karen
I have been given a wonderful offer of Advance Technique Hair products including
Frizz Control Shampoo 250mls - CCP £2.65
Frizz Control Conditioner 250mls - CCP £2.65
Frizz Control Instant Recharge Treatment 4x15mls - CCP £5.00
Frizz Control Extra Strength Anti Frizz Serum 30mls - CCP £4.80
Power Styling Curl Defining Gel 150mls - CCP £3.25
Large Barrel Brush - CCP £6.50
Total cost in this Current Campaign is = £24.85
I can offer it to you for the fabulous price of = £12.00 Less then half the current price.
If you would like to order this just write on your order form
Advance Technique Hair Product OFFER and total as £12
no code needed.
You will find a lot of people will actually go for stuff like this
the above offer is in HT14 as the 50 hair style look or something
so it is only 1 you are allowed to offer but if like me you have a customer who uses a lot of anti frizz products offer it to them it is offered to us for under £10 so add on £2 commission happy people all around xx
I do find the paperwork side of things is a pain in the bleep but once you get it done a bit at a time it is not so overwhelming.
Also means there is less chance for orders to go missing of miss an order.
Hope it helps someone with the ideas.
I too get demotivated but I adore Avon so do like to continue as I enjoy it, even if the commission is rubbish unless you put in the hours.
It is enough for me to get wee treats for myself that normally I wouldn't get :P us mums tend to buy, kids, hubby and then back to the kids again we rarely treat ourselves so this is my wee extra and I am not taking household money If you know what I mean so don't feel so guiltyLife is what you make it;)0 -
I'm still re-using my C11 books, didn't get the bags that should have come when it was current - so have printed off some stickers saying "Unfortunately due to supply issues the Glam Box is no longer available. Sorry for any inconvenience" and stuck them onto the front of the book. I doubt anyone from this part of territory would go for it anyway - they are all pretty tight lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

How random! I'm mailplan K, ordered 6 of them (only 2 for customers) and haven't received a single one!!! Hoping they turn up next time - they only good thing is that the ladies who ordered them used to be Avon ladies themselves so at least they know how things can be sometimes lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to Lozza1985 for your answer to my inland revenue query.
With regards to offering freebies and incentives to customers - I dont do that so much but last Christmas I gave all my customers a little gift and a christmas card. The presents were from the clearance section of Hello Tomorrow, or freebies from clever ordering over the year.
Obviously if you have a big territory you cant really do this, but I know my regular customers appreciated the gesture.
It can be hard to keep motivated, especially when we have to go out in this rubbish weather, but if we can keep a customer base going now, they will hopefully be our Christmas customers and earn us lots of commission!0 -
No problem! Glad to have helped with whatever decision you made in the end! Delivered my orders tonight, done really well, only 2 left to take (plus 2 family orders) which should be going tomorrow morning then I'm all done which is a first!
Lol, one of my ladies who had spent over £20 so gave her a free gift with me running the offer, told her I'd give her some bubble bath & why and she hadn't even noticed about the offer lol so was a complete coincidence that she'd spent over £20! But - she was ever so pleased to realise she was getting something freeAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

I have a question, can you accept a cheque made out to Avon as payment? A new customer insists that is how she has always paid for her orders but I don't know about that and how to pay that into my account?LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422
Chrimbo crackers: £207.17/£5100 -
i dont think your ment accept cheques from customers as if they take the items theres no saying the cheque will clear plus wouldnt it be you she pays the cheque to not avon, i do take cheques from one customer but its in my name as the payments go from my bank and she has been a customer for years and doesnt always pay by cheque most the time cash. IM sure there was somewhere on avon site about not having cheques from customers but cant find where it is, you could always email them and ask them about this if they say no you could print it out and show them it then and tell the customer theve changed the payment details now.0
