I have 1 return to do. I have filled it out online and am not home when the delivery driver gets here, so I take it it's ok to take it to the PO and post it myself?????

You can but then you have to pay, and if contains any aerosols then you cannot post it due to safety reasons. When I'm not in I leave my returns in my safe place, where my driver will be leaving my order for me (my shed!) and he is really good, signs my forms for me and posts them through the door.

Hmm, may just do that. Do you package it up like you were posting it and leave the book with it? Do you put the copy of the returns slip in the package? Sorry for all the questions x

Oh, and will the driver be expecting it? I have logged it on the website but not said what method I am sending it back...

    Help!
What's the code for the extra firming face cream. It says 17228 in the cat, but when I put it in it comes up as Ultra Colour Rich Mousse Lipstick-Metallic Pink?
Also does any one who if you can still get pink glimmer eye shadow?

I'm not sure whether they know to expect returns tbh - I always leave a note with the parcel asking him to sign my copy of the returns form and to lock the shed afterwards!

Did you print the returns form off from the website? There should be one copy which is yours - you need to keep hold of it in case there is any problems. The other part goes inside the parcel. You will need to enter the barcode number onto both copies. This is the last 4 digits (the rest is your account number!).

I put everything into whatever box I have (normally ones I salvage from work!) and seal it up well - just as if I were to post it. You will need to sellotape the barcode onto the box. hth

    No problem - I like helping :D

Brochure 10 - Extra Firming Face Cream

When ordering the Extra Firming Face cream in Brochure 10, page 93 please be aware that the description on the order page on the website is incorrect. Using the code 17228 will show a description on the order page as Lip Mousse Metallic Pink. We can assure you that Extra Firming Face Cream will be added to your order and not the lipstick.

Very slow so far this campaign. Was going to wait for the next one to start new territory, but might start this one. Only prob is everyone will be on the same cat, as don't have many cat 9's due to only just starting.

THINKING OF APPLYING TO BE A SALES LEADER

not really sure what checks they do, i know that when you apply to be a rep they check their own data base to make sure that you have not prev been a rep and owe them money. Do they do a full scale credit search when you apply for SL? or do they just check the electoral role? Any advice would be great thanks

What is required to become an Avon Rep?

    Do you need to drive?

What is the pay like, and what areas do you cover?

Is it just delivering catologues or what?

    Hi Max - welcome!

No - you don't need to drive. Quite a lot of people on here don't, and although a car would undoubtedly make it easier it's quite possible to manage without. I'm sure one of our non-drivers will enlighten you further.

The areas are assigned by the Area Sales Manager and are usually near your home, although you can opt to do just 'family & friends' (also includes taking your book into work, or anywhere else you feel you might get sales). You're not likely to get rich as a rep although I know that some Sales Leaders do quite well - it really depends how much time and effort you want to put in. As a rep, i'm earning about £70 - £100 per 3 week campaign at the moment. I would say that you're unlikely to make a living at it, but it's great for a bit of extra money ;)

You would need to pack up your brochures (which you have to buy - I buy 85 which costs me about £12), deliver them to your area then pick them up again on the day you've specified. Obviously you also need to sort and deliver the order when it arrives. Most people keep their brochure costs to a minimum by using them several times (mine go out 4 times). It's up to you how much time you put in designing flyers, etc, to help increase sales. We're all pretty good at sharing templates for flyers on here, so that might save some work.

Avon does confuse me at times ! I order an antler cabin case from HT10 but it isnt in my order and the only thing that it could be on my invoice is a clearance item which it says is out of stock and not to re-order, although it wasn't actually in the clearance section. And now the same bag is in online offers ! Why couldn' they just send it in the first place, it was for my mum to take on hols so I'm a bit disappointed. Has anyone ever had this happen before?

Anyway rant over, on the plus side got two orders for c10 today one for £14 and one for £40 so Im very pleased, not even done my territory yet. Hope everyone else is getting on well.
