Summer-Caitlin - Thanks for your reply. I have left the book this time for 3 days so that should be ok :)

Just went up to see a girl that I work with to ask her if she liked the Avon book I gave her yesterday - and she loved it. She said she would be buying loads as she has her wedding coming up! Yay!! :D

Since I received my books on Sat I have been non stop thinking about Avon and have been really excited - but I woke up in the middle of the night last night and could not stop Avon thoughts going round and round in my head!!! :o Can't wait to get my books back and see if anyone has ordered.

Is it as exciting for you guys or do I just have no life? lol
  • KatieJane - You are not the only one, I find that once I have put my books out I can't stop thinking if I may have orders yet, I am always very impatient in general anyway, so there is nothing worse than making myself wait the stupid 6 days I gave everyone *why did I do that?* Looking forward to tomorrow when I will hopefully get some orders, collecting from a lot of my regulars so really hoping I get some;)

Woo! C10 is going really well - £304 so far with still a quarter of the books to collect, plus any email or telephone orders :j I'd asked my customers from last time to tell me their favourite Avon product and why, and quite a few people have filled that in. I'm going to use the best cross-section for a flyer and will reward the writer with a small gift. Here's what one customer had to say:

Ideal Shade Fresh & Light Foundation because it's one of the easiest foundations to apply, with its own built-in brush. It never streaks, and it looks and feels light and silky, and very natural. Also a tiny amount goes such a long way! Brilliant!

That one will definitely get used!

Yes, I also find myself thinking about Avon if I can't sleep......sad, isn't it? :D

Hello!! I am back!! Still tired from my wedding at the weekend. Have done all my deliveries and collected cats from 2 streets and things are not looking good this camp!!! Will do 2 more streets tonight hopefully and collect some stragglers, but I'm not holding out much hope on this one.
I am still waiting for the missing 20 C11's that didn't get delivered last week. I am not paying Avon until they give me all my order!!!!! They said 5-10 days and it's only been 6 days! Bet it takes them 11. Frustrating!! Also, one customer had one item missing, she has still paid me even though I said she didn't have to until it arrived - does anyone know when it should arrive? It's a little eyeshadow.

If you requested an immediate replacement it should come within 5 to 10 days - I've done things arrive in 5 days normally, longest was about 7. So shouldn't be too long!

Rang ASM today while I was at work, left her another message - I really hope she gets back to me soon! Getting very disheartened with it all now.

Hang on in there Lozza - we all have our bad patches, but just as you think it's all gloom and doom, it all sorts itself out :grouphug:

Has anyone else noticed that the 'view subtotal' is playing up again. Last week we couldn't get into it at all, and now it keep leaving things off even though they show on the 'view order'.

There seem to be some really good moneymaking upportunities this time. If you have the 'Smart Woman's Secret' booklet which came with the C11 books, there are quite a number of things which are the same price as the brochure, but have a free nail varnish. Bagged myself 6 so far! Also if you have an order from C9 for the Clinical Eye Lift @ £12, then you can forward order to get that and a mascara for £10 from book 10 :D

Also, the Bargain Pack (p191 C10) is really good value. I've already sold items to cover the £7.50 it cost me, and have loads of items left to sell ([STRIKE]or return[/STRIKE] :naughty:) at a later date!

Thanks! I just hope she gets in touch soon! Lol, I'd already decided I was only going to give family members those extra booklets! Figured the free varnishes will come in handy as freebies or to resell in the future! Hehe at least it wasn't just me who was planning on people buying the odd item out of that bumper set so that I could buy the whole thing for basically nothing :D

Hiya - sorry only just spotted your post! I ordered 500 business cards, 2 window stickers for putting in our cards, a rubber stamp (just had my name & phone number put on - for filling in the cards from Avon)...I think that's it! On the business cards I just had my name, phone number & something along the lines of "want to earn some extra money? Why not become an Independent Avon Representative?" and then my details at the moment. There's some really nice designs on there. I got all the above for about £10 inc delivery which I thought was a bargain! last time I ordered from there I chose the slow delivery, but it arrived within about 10 days, hoping it will this time too!

So cheesed off.....my ASM seemed really keen on Friday for me to sign OH up over the weekend so she could do his territory.....emailed her twice over the weekend & left her a phone message yesterday.....and still not heard back from her! I'm not posting his form until I know if she is definately sorting it out or not!

Really fed up with it all the moment - if it's like this trying to get territory of her when she knew ages ago he was signing up, what is it going to be like when I find new people & need it at short notice?!?!?!?!!!!

Any other SL on here have this problem???

Me & OH had a big fall out over it & her last night :o- he found 2 leads on flissys that we could have gone for, I said I wanted to wait as what would be the point with not having books or sign up packs for them, I was hoping she would have rung back but obviously not!!! He obviously cheesed off she has this job with a lot of responsibility and yet is useless! I guess they are too interested in signing up new people themselves to actually help those that they already have

Hiya I feel for you having an ASM as an upliner! Poor you :-( My upliner had her work cut out as I signed up 25 in 3 weeks, however I'm now finally able to order my own stuff thank Gawd. She struggled to keep up with me for books etc! I have already had my first 5 place C9 orders above £148 so am well chuffed I will hit both fast start bonuses.

KatieJane - fab news, well done and great to hear you are loving Avon, hope you get tons of orders xxx

I have 1 return to do. I have filled it out online and am not home when the delivery driver gets here, so I take it it's ok to take it to the PO and post it myself?????

What is required to become an Avon Rep?

    Do you need to drive?

What is the pay like, and what areas do you cover?

Is it just delivering catologues or what?
