    Evening all

Well went out to collect some catalogues this evening and I am might peeved. I got told off by one customer who said that she already has a rep, that delivers to her and she knows for a fact that this is her territory:mad: This is the same territory I have been having problems with since day one. It seems the middle of my street aren't interested (think this is where she delivers) so I have decided to stop delivering here all together. It's not a huge loss as no one has ordered from me from this area.

I got the girls full name and was given the story that she has 2 children so I shouldn't be taking her area as it's not fair to her. I told the customer that I have double checked with my SL and I have been assured that there is no rep assigned to this territory, so it is in fact mine. I explained to her that maybe she has her down as friends and family, but doesn't actually deliver to the whole area. She told me she knows she delivers across the road too, would make sense as it is the same area where I was previously told there is a rep going about there.

I am so damn annoyed by this. This is only my third campaign and I have had 3 different reps on this territory already. How many bleeding times do I need to check that this is my area?????:mad: I was so annoyed, I honestly felt like I was in the wrong. If this girl is doing this part of my territory and has been doing it for ages, why the hell has she not told Avon????? Instead she makes people like me feel like crap, I am only doing the area I was assigned, yet she is the one that has taken it upon herself to branch out. AAAAAHHHH, I am so angry!!!!

Sorry all, just really need to vent!

I am glad in a way I don't have territory
as I would be fuming if I was doing a street that was being poached.
Hope your ASM can get her sorted and tell her to buzz off

    :DMorning everyone

I emailed avon friday after my online invoices showed no watches:mad: and for them to be sent asap. Replied this morning saying as requested watches have been sent out today. They got them back in stock quickly then. Oh well see how long they take:rolleyes:

SW congtrat on deciding to be SL. My avon homepage has changed today to a SL one. Lozza what did you get from vista. I want to order but delivery takes forever.

Has anyone tried the new flip flops yet. Could do with a bit of leg toning.

Hiya - sorry only just spotted your post! I ordered 500 business cards, 2 window stickers for putting in our cards, a rubber stamp (just had my name & phone number put on - for filling in the cards from Avon)...I think that's it! On the business cards I just had my name, phone number & something along the lines of "want to earn some extra money? Why not become an Independent Avon Representative?" and then my details at the moment. There's some really nice designs on there. I got all the above for about £10 inc delivery which I thought was a bargain! last time I ordered from there I chose the slow delivery, but it arrived within about 10 days, hoping it will this time too!

So cheesed off.....my ASM seemed really keen on Friday for me to sign OH up over the weekend so she could do his territory.....emailed her twice over the weekend & left her a phone message yesterday.....and still not heard back from her! I'm not posting his form until I know if she is definately sorting it out or not!

Really fed up with it all the moment - if it's like this trying to get territory of her when she knew ages ago he was signing up, what is it going to be like when I find new people & need it at short notice?!?!?!?!!!!

Any other SL on here have this problem???

Me & OH had a big fall out over it & her last night :o- he found 2 leads on flissys that we could have gone for, I said I wanted to wait as what would be the point with not having books or sign up packs for them, I was hoping she would have rung back but obviously not!!! He obviously cheesed off she has this job with a lot of responsibility and yet is useless! I guess they are too interested in signing up new people themselves to actually help those that they already have

Ah darling - I hope you manage to get it sorted quickly! Some rep's just don't care about the rules which leaves the rest of us looking like idiots!!! You're doing well though on C10!

    Morning all

Summer-Caitlin, I hope you get the territory sorted, must be a real nightmare! That is just not fair on you!

I did my first pickup for C10 yesterday, in my new territory. So far have £279 worth of orders :T so looks like its gonna be a good campaign! I also put some C9 cats out in that territory and a few hours later got a telephone order for £29!:j

Will put the cats I picked up yesterday out again today and pickup the rest (hopefully!).

  • Thanks girls for the replies, I was just so cheesed off last night. The customer even said "darling, you're a campaign behind" NO, I'm not a campaign behind actually, I can run two campaigns at once thank you very much. Felt like saying that and much more, but didn't:rolleyes:

I am waiting for my SL to get back to me, I gave her the full name of this rep and her street address, so I am hoping that she can at least be talked to, to find out exactly what area of the street she is doing. I have honestly just written off that part of my territory now, I don't see the point in possibly p*****g customers off. What annoys me is that this woman didn't tick the box last time to say she didn't want a catalogue:confused: Still annoyed, the more I talk about it!

  • panambi, well done, that's a huge amount of orders, how many cats have you collected? The beginning of my campaigns never go well, mainly because I start off with the beginning of my street (the bit that sux:rolleyes:) normally I get a huge boost when I get to the end of my street as they seem to order. Not doing another collection until tomorrow, so here's hoping I get more.

    Good morning :D

I am on my first campaign and delivered my cats yesterday evening. It amazed me how many people there were that wouldn't even give the book a chance - but also some lovely people who were so thrilled that I was offering them a book to look through - which really lifted my spirits.

How long on average would you guys leave a book with a customer before saying you were going to collect it?
  • KatieJane - Well done on delivering for your first campaign:T
I normally leave the book for 3 days, although for some reason I have left the book for 6 days to all the customers that had goods delivered on Friday, I don't collect these until tomorrow. That is way too long imo as I really need those books to get round the rest of my territory. I think 3-4 days is more than enough whereas if you leave it any longer people are inclined to forget about it and you may never get your book back. I always have a sticker on the front of the bag to say when I will be collecting it.

well I highly recommend the Fitflops Lozza, I wore them when doing my Avon and even though no one asked me about them, still were really comfortable and didn't have sore feet when I got home.

and I get told off regularly for having all "my stuff" (Avon) all over the dining table.

panambi, well done, that's a huge amount of orders, how many cats have you collected?

I collected yesterday about half of the 60 that I had put out - but there were 5 orders of between £30 and £50 so that adds up very quickly! I guess it has been a while since someone has done that area.
