Decided when I placed my order to get 3 packs of the calling cards, figured they would be useful to give to new rep's, I know had to rush getting something printed off on the computer to get and get the stray books back. Will probably give them some plastic bags for their books as well, we bought in bulk from ebay so won't really be costing very much but will hopefully help people out a bit. Figured will hang onto my books as well, so that I can give them some of the current books, but also some of the old ones to get them to split their territory from the beginning. What do all you SL on here give people when they sign up?

Well done with your orders, that total is going to a lot higher still from the sounds of things! Getting yourself anything nice?

I've been quite good this time, only getting a necklace (which is for my birthday), those dancing gel things for your feet, some shower gel.....and 10 of the eye gels that were on special offer lol :D Better than normal for me though heehee!

Anybody else tried the facebook route to get more sales/sign-ups?

I've just set up a facebook account to keep in touch with some of my customers. It means I can keep Avon in front of them at all times :D

Don't know yet whether it helps.....watch this space ;)

Fingers crossed it helps you :D

Theres some good avon groups on there with some good tips, even one with videos! Though have to admit some of them made me giggle as it made avon out to be a bit of a cult in my opinion lol! Though she must be doing something right as she's the leader of the best selling team in 08/09!

Hiya, yes that was me, i used it again today...still think it smells like hair spray and very greasey feel to it. But on a plus note...i didnt get burnt in the sun (thats quite rare for me) so it must do its job. And my white top hasnt turned a dingy colour so thats another bonus so i might learn to get used to it,
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,
it's about learning to dance in the rain.

OMG just tried my sun spray and yes your right.... horrible smell but after a minute it smells better...will still exchange it for a normal suncream

haven't been on here for a while as i have been quiet busy , first my daughter had chickenpox and was off school and after her my little man catched it .... he is almost over it.
so not so much avoning but hey had a great c9 order which came to just over £600...my delivery will come on tuesday and i am expecting 13 oasis watches.

oh remember my lst post when i said i will have 3 new sign ups on one day.... guess what nobody turned up 1 cancelled just 30 minutes before the appointment and the other ones switched off there phones..great
why can't people just say they are not interested in becoming a rep anymore, send a text or something.
need a bit of a break and lots of motivation.

wish i would have more determined reps like u guys

Glad to hear that your little ones are nearly all better! Congrats on your order that's a fantastic total!!!

I suppose you will always get a few people who are time wasters - but then hopefully among them will be a few great reps like the ladies on here lol :j

How do you go about finding people who want to sign up, or helping them to find you lol? I want to become a SL, but am definately not going down the knocking on doors route!

I've made myself a facebook page, and been browsing the groups on there, found this one which has some useful info on, it's made by the lady that has the Team of the Year 2008-2009 so she must be doing something right - might be worth a look to get you motivated again? http://www.facebook.com/s.php?sid=81c2cabef39845bae6b857c29eccb9c3&init=q&sf=p&k=200000010&n=-1&q=avon%20find%20rep&o=4&hash=a2b4927761622d80e529bd3336623624&s=20#/group.php?gid=61172920664

    Hopefully that link works ok!!!

  • So I logged on to my Avon account this morning as I am pretty sure my delivery is due on Wednesday. My account balance on Friday (when I placed my order) was sitting at £0.00, it is now sitting at £0.01. I know this isn't a big deal, but I can't figure out why it is sitting at this nor if this would effect my order from being dispatched. Anyone know?

I hope to star some of my new territory this week, but will see how it goes.

I see C9 has been a success for all of us, I just hope C10 turns out to be the same.
    Avon Rep

    C8 - £417.09, C9 - £613.14:jC10 - £378.18
    C11 - £301.72, C12 - £284.92, C13 - £220.14,
    C14 - £194.36, C15 - £300.91
