I order my brochures 2 ahead
but it is only for one month you are out a pocket
as the following month yyou are just buying the last one
if you know what I mean
I submitted C8 last time and ordered 15 brochures for C11
so next month I will be ordering 15 C12 brochures
it is only the first month you will be out of pocket
but handy if customers email or phone in their order as you can drop in future campaigns to save time ;)
It works for me but there is no right or wrong answer :j
Life is what you make it;)

    I received a letter today
we have recently received an enquire from... name & address..
Who saw an advertisement & is interested in becoming an Avon customer and having a representative call. blah blah..

So I was really :j and I went around & the daughter of this lady tells me her mum goes to her caravan for the summer so she can't understand why she would have asked for a brochure ect, and she seemed nice, do u think she was lying or do u think Avon are just making !!!! up!
Anyone else had a letter like this?
    xx
    Cheers!

I had a letter a couple of months ago. I started Avon back in 2007 and canvassed my whole area. This house said they did not want to order, so I stopped putting book through.

Anyway I got the Avon letter saying that if they ordered I would get a free gift, so I went round with a small bag of samples and a book and their first order was £27. Avon sent me the Anew Ultimate night cream as a thank you for serving this "new" customer. (It is still in my stock box)

This new customer turns out to be one of my best regulars as she has 3 teenage daughters.

Lozza (the other one :p ), you're not allowed your own website for SL use. It's in the terms of the Sales Leader agreement. There's so much we're not allowed to do as SL and any ad has to be approved by Avon's legal team.

Anyone thinking of being a SL can register on Flissys to get a better understanding of how it works. Oh and I have a completely separate ID on Facebook that I use purely for Avon stuff so that I can keep my real profile with all my photos etc private. I also have a group and page on there.

Got to go out now but will see if I missed anything when I get back :)

Oh right that is a surprise! Will definately have to have one of the official sites then! OH will be very disappointed by it being more difficult placing ad's - he spent ages this afternoon researching how much adverts in different newspapers would be! I suppose would have to submit something then to get it approved. Sounds like it will be more difficult to find people to sign up than I first thought then if you're limited with so many things. o well, will still give it a go.

One thing my OH was wondering - when people apply through the official website (like I did) to become a rep, do ASM sometimes send those leads on to SL or will they just sign them all up themselves? I figured that they probably wouldn't as Avon would be having to pay more commission to people, but does it sometimes happen?

Have submitted with flissys, just waiting to receive an email from them, which I guess being a bank holiday might not be for a while yet.

Has your facebook account helped you at all? Either by getting new customers or possible sign-ups? I've signed up this afternoon but haven't done anything with my account yet as couldn't manage to wrestle the laptop back from OH!:rotfl:Have managed to do a little on facebook this evening (OH at work lol) and joined a few Avon groups. Quite interesting reading through the different posts etc.

Is it allowed to create a facebook group? I was thinking then I can make it that only the Reps I sign up could view it (I think, still getting to grips with facebook lol!) so that we could all keep in touch and everyone get to know each other, and to encourage them with their sales lol!

Hey all, Just anyone else got the clear suncream spray? Is it just me... does it smell like hair spray?? Definately doesn't have that suncream smell to it.
