Yay went my Mums tonight and picked up her order and her friends orders, plus my sister phoned me with her order - though I haven't added hers onto my total yet as I've asked if she wants to wait on getting the suncream she wants with it being cheaper in C10. Managed to sell another 2 watches which is good, told my sister that people had ordered make-up but not the watch so she could buy it if she wanted which she is :D And Mum texted one of her friends and she said yes as well :D Just 3 orders left to get from family - and all my orders apart from one are delivered now. I know the woman won't ring - she never has before, but this time I'd had enough and put a polite letter through saying that if she doesn't contact me by Saturday that I will assume she no longer wants her order and will return it. Glad she hasn't rung in a way, as means I can cross her off my list and everyone who is left are lovely :D

If I want to register on flissys - can I do it before I sign up to become a SL? I've gone onto the website but with it asking about the areas you cover it put me off a little - I don't want to risk them banning me or something lol!

  • So I have submitted my second order to Avon and my final total was £613.14:jI am so happy with that as at the beginning of this campaign I thought it was going to suck big time! However everything seemed to come together and I did do a lot of running around to get round my whole territory. Am hoping I can make a start on my new territory next week, I'll see how I feel, feel like I need a good rest just now:o

Anyway when ordering the watches came up as green ticks for me, so it looks like they will be okay. I also took advantage of some of the £1.00 offers, bought about 10 different things and bought a few things out of HT for me:rolleyes: I also decided to buy the Anew Night Gold Emulsion skin gel for 50+ in HT11, I bought 5 so I get 2 free. The Anew serum was very popular for me, sold 5 last campaign and 4 this campaign and most of the customers that got the free ultimate treats chose the 50+ bag. So I am hoping that it will be popular, I think the intro price is only £15.00 and it will be advertised on TV. I figured I had nothing to lose as I can send any back that I don't sell anyway.

I also bought 50 C11 cats, am I the only one that only buys one campaign ahead? I don't want to buy 2 camps ahead, as was recommended, as I think it is really costly always buying two sets of cats.

So I managed to reach LOA2 in my first two campaigns so I am ready for all the goodies to be bestowed on me, I hope the sample packs are worth it. I didn't order any samples this time as I figured I should get enough from them to last me for a little while! Also have enough freebies in my bag of goodies to last a few campaigns so at least I don't have to buy them too.

Lyndsey did you remember to but the starter pack?

    Wow that's fantastic! Well done!

How many houses are in your territory now?

  • Thanks:o

Well the original territory was 180 houses and that is all I did this time. I have been given another 180 houses as my new territory but I might not start it next week, it depends!
I have whittled down my original territory to about 100 or so houses, as the middle part of my street are completely disinterested, hence why I asked for more territory. Loads don't order though, the good thing is most customers order over £10.00 worth.

You did really well from just 180 houses then! It does really help when all the orders are a decent size - lots of people are regularly ordering with me, but unfortunately only small amounts, say £5 or so - though one of those people spent £21 this time!!! I remember you saying a while ago you were leaving a book at a hairdressers - did you do that again this time & did it pay off?

My OH gave me quite a surprise, he said "o I know someone who is interested in signing up" - with him being at work at the moment I assumed it was a work colleagues wife, but no his Mum!!! Honestly can't see her sticking it, I love her to bits, but she keeps trying different jobs and pretty much all of them she walks out on on the first day! Mostly due to the fact that she used to be a manager in a store, so working on tills etc and having someone telling her what to do doesn't suit her. Which I suppose would mean that Avon would be good for her in that respect, but I really can't see her having the patience to keep going back to people etc. Just hope she gives it a lot of thought, and if she does sign up that she actually tries it properly rather than just giving up as that would really cheese me off!

  • I did put 2 cats in to 2 different hairdressers. The only people that order from them are the staff themselves though, I don't think they actually leave it out for customers to look at. They are both only small salons but I got a £25.00 order from one and £7.50 order from the other and £20.00 last time. Not loads, but still something. Au Naturale hasn't ordered either campaign, which I am very surprised at. They have a staff of about 20 or so and not one has placed an order:confused:

Oh it would be really if your OH's mother would be a good rep, I am not too sure if I would like to 'manage' my OH's mother:rotfl:but that's a whole other story! I have absoluely no patience, but so far I am handling that side of things quite well, mind you the incentive is there to make more money so that is what keeps me going.

I know that's whats putting me off I suppose - but I'm not going to say to her that I won't sign her up need to stay in her good books!:p At a guess she might be thinking that she can get a discount on her stuff which would make it worth it for her - but I have a feeling that she doesn't realise that you have MOV and HOV, she may be popping over tomorrow so that she can find out a little more. Obviously can't sign her up yet, but at least I know she wouldn't risk signing up with anyone else lol!:rotfl: My OH, bless him, is busy thinking of all the places that we could advertise, and planning a website with a forum and all sorts!

I order 2 campaigns ahead but that is only for the moment, so I can try and reel in some more customers. Might wittle down to 1 campaign after C12.

Ok more SL related questions lol! Eventually I'll run out of things I can ask :D

If you had one of the official avon sites, and people applied through there to sign up with you but they were miles away - can you sell those leads? OH is trying to work out if it would be worth having an official site or just doing our own. Obviously if we had our own we wouldn't be able to sell any leads on, so we're thinking it might be worth having both sites.

Also, does anyone use facebook to help advertising themselves as a rep/sl? I don't have an account at the moment, but wondering if it might be worth creating one - but with not being on facebook I have no idea how it all works in terms of whether it would just attract nutters lol!
