    Hi,

when sales leaders sign up reps who are doing territory we are meant to give you 20 books for 2 campaigns, ridiculus to give you the amount she has! We are meant to give 20 as we get credited back for 20 books for 2 campaigns to cover cost of giving you books, so definitely ask for more asap!!

Plus which campaign are you about to place an order for 15 or 16? Is it 16 back ordering from 15? If its campaign 15 you are placing an order from you can't order form 16 unless its campaign 16 with back order from 15 if thats makes sense lol xx

Well I'll be ordering from 15 and 16 on the same order - can I do that? Then I'll order some C17 brochures so on the next order I'll be ordering from 17 and 16 as I'm giving them out half and half, so I've got 2 on the go at one time.

I am on my 1st 2 campaigns (15 + 16), and was given a territory, but told not to do about 7 of the houses as someone else is covering those!! Ok didnt mind that, but today went to collect books from a small cul de sac off one of my roads to be told that there is already some one doing it. Should i be miffed about this, surely if u are given an area of several roads, which has a few cul de sacs, u do those as well?? Why isnt the other rep doing the rest of the area then??(prob cos they never get any orders), I feel as tho i have been given the bottom of the barrell, with someone else cherry picking what they want to do.
    not a good start:mad:
you should just do the streets you are given, even the little ones are still assigned to people, but dont worry about thinking you are being given the rubbish ones.
I was given 12 houses off a street of 50ish houses. I asked why I was only given these 12 houses and she said someone else does the others. As it was, that someone else was my sister in law and she said to me she didnt do them cos she did them once and no one ordered. So i asked if i could have the whole street and she said yes. Ive now got several regular ordering customers off that street :T

I was in M&S this afternoon and saw a postcard for the Breast Cancer Pink Your Party Campaign http://www.pinkyourparty.org.uk/ so I've applied for a party pack for my Avon party :T

I have numbers 80-188 on one of my streets so I assume someone else does the top end of the street ... I have 2 full streets to myself also though :p

I have had a couple reps try to steal customers in my area and it's really not very nice.

You say it's only 20-25 houses but that can make a huge difference. Just think, even if only 10 people order £10 worth of orders thats £100 total and the rep could get up to 25 quid for that.

It's not fair to give out books if it's not your territorty.

To be fair, Laura has explained repeatedly that she has done her research and checked and nobody is covering that area. So she's not stealing anyone's customers. If there's no rep, there's no £100 going to the 'wrong' person!
Of course there is the issue that ASMs should assign territory, and if nobody's got Laura down has having those few houses then it could get 'properly' allocated to someone. Again Laura has said a few times that she's been trying to get hold of her ASM, but appears to have a bad'un.
It just seems that people are reading through the thread, picking up on one comment about doing houses not assigned, and having a go (though the one above is not the most harsh). Trying to pinch someones's territory is bang out of order, but Laura's not doing that.

MiniLauraRocks - if you haven't already, get in touch with Avon and explain what's going on. ASM's are the ones actually getting paid by Avon to do a job, and yours quite obviously isn't doing it. Ask if you can have another ASM - another one may have different territories but still relatively close to your area. (My mum and sis both live within 10 minutes of me, and both would have different ASM's to me and each other if they were doing Avon.)
You never know, you may not be the only one complaining about this person.
    :)

Has anyone yet had the misfortune to have a customer service call dealt with by the new call centre?

Let me make clear that I have no problem whether the call centre is in the UK, India, Australia, or Outer flippin' Mongolia - all I ask is that the person I'm speaking to can understand and speak clear English.

I'm sure they'll be fine when the query is a simple one, but anything complicated is going to be a nightmare if neither can understand the other

    Sorry - rantette over :rotfl:

I had a problem with an account number for a rep I sign up, her date of birth didnt match avons records  I rang the call centre and it took the lady I spoke to about 15 mins to update the records? Surely it shouldnt take that long?

Thanks Pinzy - im honestly not trying to take someone elses territory!

Well ive contacted ASM again and will wait for a response for now, but will try to get those houses allocated to me, so there is no confusion. Ill give Avon a call next week and see if I can get a swap of ASM or something. Thats been my intension all along, to try and get somewhere as ive had no luck from ASM. My own areas accessible houses are already covered by someone and i have stepped back immediately when I knew this. (they arent actually allocated to that person, she just does them due to them being neighbours).

Onto something new. With winter drawing in, and darker evenings, whats everyones plan for getting books back/delivering orders? Putting books out one night, I kinda thought, going to peoples houses, opening gates and such in the dark, it might startle people if they arent expecting anyone? I'm not working at the moment so daytime is possible for me but not the best time for catching people - any tips or advice on this? I guess its ok if you know the people well on your territory but for some of the newer reps starting out?

I work days so I tend to do Avon between 6-7pm which although will be dark isn't too late so hopefully I won't have any problems
