:mad: I'm sick of people not answering the door when they are blatently at home watching the TV and I'm sick of not getting my books back!:mad:
On a happy note, my friend said I can have the upstairs of his pub for free for my Avon party :j
good news about your party :T0 -
i know that irritates the :mad: out of me too, even worse when its peeing it down with rain, youre wet through and they are sat watching telly ignoring u, instead of coming to the door and giving u their avon book back, if they didnt want disturbing why didnt they leave it on the doorstep!!
good news about your party :T
Thanks ... I have no idea how to do an Avon party :rotfl: but plenty of time to work it out!Small business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
I did this too,I had 1 customer order a couple of items and my brother order a cople also so I figured I may as well order the robe.
Although when I got mine it had a slight tear in down on of the front sides so I shall be phoning up tomorrow to request a replacement, pleased with it otherwise, the fabric is just gorgeous and the colour too.oooh i wasnt so sure i could be bothered checking the camp before to see if i could get stuff cheaper but so far im saving £1 and getting the moroccan spa robe for free
also from camp 15 someones ordered the petal perfume for £10, but if you order the womans version for £14 you get petal free. So im going to order the womans version, costing me £4, nice little xmas pressie there!0 -
Time for a change of subject, I think
Just got my HT18 - has anyone else noticed that there is a whole page of fixed discounts for C16  (for newbies, these are items for which you only get a derisory amount of commission - like £4.59 on the Royal Worcester Figurine selling at £54!). Shan't be pushing those then
Apart from being a total rip-off as we work just as hard to sell these items as anything else, it plays havoc with trying to calculate your commission!
Having said all that, if I didn't enjoy selling Avon, I would just go somewhere else!'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

I wondered what the fixed discount things were about, I noticed them in HT16 and was a little confused! But I think I get it nowSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0

Ive not had any contact for over 6 months from asm despite asking for territory. Also had confirmation that no reps operate in that area from everyone I contacted. I actually do intend to let my asm manager know Ive tried to get some more customers and see what happens.
I have had a couple reps try to steal customers in my area and it's really not very nice.
You say it's only 20-25 houses but that can make a huge difference. Just think, even if only 10 people order £10 worth of orders thats £100 total and the rep could get up to 25 quid for that.
It's not fair to give out books if it's not your territorty.Starting Weight - 16st 5lbs

Been out posting books tonight and someone has already put them out.
It is my area, i did it last campaign.
I called my ASM while i was out. It went to answer machine and still no answer from her yet.
She hasn't called me back since i have been signed up.
I have asked for more area instead of sl cast offs.
Rant over ................for now.
I really feel for you. It is so annoying when people do that xStarting Weight - 16st 5lbs

i hate those fixed discount thingys i think they have a flipping cheek doing that!! like you say we work just as hard selling that stuff as we do any other stuff!!
On a different note ive been drs today about my swollen hands and feet, hes taken blood and wee and will get the results this aft if they are super urgent or tomorrow morning if not. He thinks the virus i had has damaged my kidneys.....oh dear!0 -
what i keep saying - there is no reps in the area and ive informed my ASM - if i get anyone saying theres a rep it stops? how is that unfair - the houses obviously havent been covered for years, thats what ive been told!:j Debt-Free-Wannabe! :jDeclutter/Ebay/Savings0

Just delivered my first lot of brochures! Hope I've done it right though. The SL (or whatever she is!) gave me 7 C15 books and 8 C16 books, so I've given half the street C15 and half C16. I read that you have to order your brochures 2 campaigns ahead, which means I'll need to order C17 when I put my first order in, is that right? The SL said that if sales were a bit slow at first then she'd give me a 3rd lot of brochures. For the houses I've given C15 to, could I give them C16 next time, and then just order 10 or so C17 and rotate them like that? So I've got two books on the go - half the street on one brochure and the other half on the one behind? Or is it best to do them just 1 campaign at a time? Which means I'll have to order about 20 C17 brochures.
I've also dropped a brochure in at DS's school. What would you ladies say that the most useful things are to order? I've been looking at the starter bag for £10. I'm not doing a huge round, just small to start off with - work, school and my mum's street (about 20 houses). I don't really need a lot of samples as I'm not doing much demonstrating, but will probably order a few to take to work to let them have a sniff/try.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0
