  • Just a word of warning Re the Annual Planners. It's been mentioned on the PC forum these come in packs of 5 not 10 as stated in HT mag.

I used to give these to my customers but ended up with more coming back (with their Christmas cards I'd sent them as well) so now I don't bother....bah humbug!!!!!!!

  • They are basically a calendar on a sheet, printed both sides of the paper so one side is Jan-Jun the other is July-Dec. You don't get a lot of space to write on them if I remember rightly....like I said, I only got them the first year then gave up trying to give them to customers!

  • There's a Crusade Pin on pg 8 of C17, but haven't got a C18 yet.

LOL - that's nothing; last year I gave all my customers a Christmas card with a perfume sample inside. Not only did I get quite a lot of the samples back, but some of the cards too!

  • what i keep saying - there is no reps in the area and ive informed my ASM - if i get anyone saying theres a rep it stops? how is that unfair - the houses obviously havent been covered for years, thats what ive been told!

Good that you told ASM but prob is if you stay in an area til someone else arrives by the time you know they are doing the area they will have put books out, been told by one or 2 people that there is already a rep in the area and a lot of new reps will give up at this point, so we sales leaders who spend money to find new reps and rely on them for our income are out of pocket.

Why don't you just take on the area as your own?? If you want to do the area get it assigned to you saves confusion, and stops all the cherry picking.

I left calling cards at 8 houses yesterday and got 4 books (+ 1 calling card lol) back today ... I have lost soooo many books though, started off with 35 C15s and down to about 20 now and can still use them next campaign

    Hi melvis,
Are you brochure dropping a new area or is the area you have done before? I know we all have different methods but I find I get back more brochures because I ask if they are interested when I go to collect, I could just not ask them and could get lucky with those who weren't interested ordering because they saw something by accident or change their minds, but since I plan to re-canvass the area every 3 months I don't see the point. So, because I ask if they are interested, I can be sure that I will get the brochures back and thus less brochures are lost, and it saves time dropping as I only have a select number of houses left. Obviously this doesn't work when you are canvassing an area for the first time, in that case I just drop every house and then on collection, if they leave the brochure out for me I assume they are interested, if they don't, then when I knock for the brochure I ask if they are interested.

    A bit long, apologies...

    Good luck
    Kat x

p.s I am about to brochure drop my territory for the second time, c16 this time.
