Summer mentioned earlier the starter pack - I can't seem to find the order number? Anyone know what it is and what's in it? Going to submit my order in a mo - £158 for my first camp. Not bad I think. Will try and put more effort into this one

Trust me, i'm no quitter. Since giving up Avon i have started and still run 2 successful businesses where i earn far more than i ever did or (realistically) would ever do with Avon. I have tried Avon, Betterware, Usborne Books at Home and Phonix Trading in the past and all are much the same, hopeless if you actually want to make a real living. When i worked out how much i was earning per hour i was putting into these things, i was earning about 40p an hour! So no i am not ashamed that i gave it up, i'm glad of the fact that i took a business decision to think 'This is absolutely ridiculous and not going to benefit me or my family in any way' and i gave up and spent the time with my kids instead! :T

The only person getting rich with Avon is the man/woman/whatever it is sat at the top rubbing their hands together while all their slaves trawl the streets in the rain earning less than they would earn sewing sequins on in a third world country

you can't make a living from just been a rep. but then avon doesnt advertise that you can they advertise as earn extra cash!!!
dont work out your hourly wage as it not a full time or partime job. it can become a full time if you become a salesleader and thats were th money is longterm
i mean i get roughly £400 commision every 3 weeks from repping and sl but then again i havent even been doing sl for long but i know alot of salesleader that earn £1000 , £2000 even £3000 every 3 weeks just from beeing a salesleader obviously they have much bigger teams that i have and been doing it for some years just google gail reynolds one of the most successful sl's or dave carter.

it can't be as big or as little as you make it
  • Lyndsey the code for the starter kit is 69401 - it only say's "New representatives can buy this handy bag full of samples and products when they first join Avon - it's the perfect size to carry brochures and samples in worth over £30" I am not sure exactly what type of samples are in it, but I think it will likely be worth the £10. Well dones on finishing your first campaign:T £158 is a great sum, am I right in thinking that you only have a small territory?

Well I just came back from collecting in the stragglers and my total is now up to £273!!! That note that Elliebee kindly gave me worked wonders and most people left the catalogues out as requested. I got almost £100 worth of orders tonight!! I still have to go to the hairdresser to pick up one order and go past Au Naturale to see if they have any orders. I am really happy with my total. I have a few things that I want to order myself and I think it's going to take me a while to creative order, so I am giving myself plenty of time.
    Avon Rep

    C8 - £417.09, C9 - £613.14:jC10 - £378.18
    C11 - £301.72, C12 - £284.92, C13 - £220.14,
    C14 - £194.36, C15 - £300.91

you get a bottle of the u by ungaro perfume which normally costs £22 + paperbags+ samples and orderforms and i think maybe a lipgloss or so
  • Thanks, then I definitely think it's worth it then. I wasn't going to bother ordering it, but it is actually quite a handy bag, plus I think that perfume smells quite nice.

I made a mistake when I ordered mine on OH's new account and ordered the rep bag instead of the starter pack and now can't credit the rep bag back  ASM said she'll email Avon and request the rest of the starter pack be sent to me but means I have to pay the full £10 this campaign instead of split between the next two  i just want the full size U :rotfl:

on a plus side I just went through all my old stock and credited £60 worth back to Avon :T xxx

Doh - put my order in now. Prob can get it next camp, will still be a new rep!
I have a small estate, done about half the territory, need to motivate myself and get more done, but with only 40 brochures it can be hard. Am away this weekend too, so can't do much til next week with the rest of C8 anyway.
My ASM said once I am used to this area she will expand it - would probably panic if I had too big an area.
You've done amazingly well!!! Bet you're so chuffed!! I am gonna try and beat my C8 total in C9!
  • Awww Lyndsey I wish I had came on earlier and seen your question, hopefully you can still get it next campaign. I think you have done really well with such a small territory, okay you did half, so that means you will likely do better next campaign;)

I am over the moon with what I managed to get. Honestly if you read back over my earlier posts, it was pretty clear that I thought I was going to be short on my MOV. Considering I too have done half of my territory, I am hoping to better it next campaign. We can motivate eachother to get out there and deliver those catalogues!!

Hi, It is C8 delivery day today.....it came at 7:25 am a full hour early.

All present and correct and with a little "creative" ordering, I managed to grab myself some freebies and some cheap bits as well as the ANEW bonus bag as 2 of my customers spent £10 ecah on anew stuff.

I ordered the pecicure / "cheese" grater thing so my feet are in for a treat this evening.

I did not do so well this time , so here's hoping thet C9 will be better with the watch offer.
