    HI Everyone

Not been well lately but getting better now, hopefully.

Anyway was thinking of becoming a Sales Leader but wanted to get everyone's perspective on this. Is it worth trying? What do people think?

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Thanks
    Anne

Aaaw! Glad you're on the mend SW - we've missed you :grouphug:

Wouldn't know about SL, but I'm sure others will. Good luck if you go for it.

You've convinced me - I will put some cats out even if I am away for the weekend.
Went to the docs about my knee and he can't find anything wrong with it, said I probably strained it when doing some exercises, so can't go on the cross trainer so that means I will have to walk round and do as many cats as I can until I don't have any left to help me exercise!

Sorry to hear about your knee, hope it feels better soon! Hope you enjoy your weekend away!

My final total was £313.00, and I added um.... about £100 of stuff for myself:rotfl:and that doesn't include cats or stuff like that, this was just stuff I wanted!!! I bought my foundation, pressed and loose powder, mascara, glimmerstix eyeliner, lip gloss, shimmer brick, nail varnish, magix, shower gels, perfume, body sprays, jewellery, footworks pack (4 for £4), linen sprays, pedi pads, eyeshadow, anew lip balm, anew glossy lipstick, gradual tan, antler bag and obviously more as I added up the stuff on my order form and it was just over £100, obviously I get 25% off but I can't believe how quickly it mounted up!

I shouldn't have to buy much more in the way of make up next time though and this does include the free gifts for people that spent over £20 (7 people) and the footworks pack I bought 2 of and I am keeping some for gifts. I bought quite a lot of linen sprays. I am probably out about £20 to Avon, this order has completely eaten my commission, but I am still going to seperate it as I maybe wouldn't have bought so much normally but I definitely needed a lot of it. Got myself the necklace from C7 and a beauty bag from C8. Ordered the starter kit too.

I will have to buy £10 worth of make up next time to get the watch though, I will need liquid eyeliner by then and no doubt a few more things will catch my eye. I am limiting myself to £15 in the normal cat and I will allow more stuff from HT, someone better hold me down when ordering as I don't want to buy the same amount next time, otherwise I will end up with no money again:rotfl:I want a clear profit next time.

So when do I start putting out cats again, do I start from tomorrow?

Crickey that is a lot! I'm trying to limit myself to about £20 max (with discount) each time, unless things are for presents for people, or freebies as I need to stock up ready for giving things out at the end of next campaign (giving people a free gift with every 6th order). Word of warning with HT - work out from the brochure price that they mention how much the item would be with your discount, as I keep finding a lot of times it is cheaper to wait until they are in the actual books! Some things are on good offer though in HT, just do the maths lol!

For starting canvassing, I normally wait until after my delivery date, as then I give people books with their orders and then give books to the other houses. It gives me a "week-off" from Avon as such - I just get the books packaged in that time. Everyone is different though, I know some people would start again canvassing as soon as the next campaign begins, but I rather have the time off so that it doesn't feel as if I'm always doing stuff for Avon!

    Hi

I am thinking of becoming a SL too but still undecided. My ASM seems like she would be very supportive and I have a friend who said she is thinking of doing Avon so she could be my first recruit but its a big decision.

My ASM was over an hour late to come and sign me up, and another time she was meant to come around....she never turned up and didn't ring either! Once you're signed up though then it doesn't matter as you can do things on your own and you aren't relying upon people.

    Did they ever turn up?

Whereabouts are you? We can try and find a local SL for you instead ;)
