Hi everyone, I am new to Avon rep, and have been lurking on these pages to try and find out the best way to up my campaign. My first campaign was 7 and 8, and only got 2 order in 8, so hopefully am going to step up this campaign and get a better response. Am borrowing ideas from all of you, to make it a better canvass.
I highlighted the "ped egg", not what it is called in this campaign, but it is what they are selling in Boots for £10, so I turned down the page for my customers. To get them in the summer mood... hope it works.
The ped egg is proving very popular in Boots and is selling on ebay as well, but i think it is the fake version on ebay.
Doh, I just realised I put out all my campaign 9 books and didn't keep one for myself. I can't tell you the page number.0 -
Yes, I might need some motivation for C9.
A question - I am away next Friday to Sunday night so do you think it's not worth delivering brochures on Thursday to collect Monday? (Think I might be delivering that night, but hope to get some brochures out too).
Off topic - weighed myself this morning, had a few bad days this week and stayed the same. I need motivation to get back on my cross trainer. Five mins walking delivering cats to 1 road is not enough exercise!!!
Avon and exercise, my goals for next week!!!0 -

I know this sounds really silly, but how do you sell at car boot sales. Do you have to buy loads of products to sell? Do you take orders as people could live anywhere.0

I'm after a big favour. Does anyone have the brooke necklace going spare ? It was in HT10 in the clearance section, I really wanted one for myself but it is showing as out of stock on my order. If so please pm me I would be extremely grateful.
Also does anyone know what mail plan I am on if I have to put my order in on tuesday, area number 781.0 -

Last time I delivered some brochures on a Friday (with some on a Thursday) for a Monday collection, as I've found collecting on a weekend is a waste of time, hardly anybody remembers to leave them out! But that worked well for me.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Me and OH have been considering doing this ourselves, we need to do a carboot later in the year to shift some stuff so thought we could try and make a few extra quid with Avon stuff. We were just going to buy some stuff in bulk when it is really cheap and then put it for sale at the carboot. If you took orders, like you say, people could live miles away from you and not be worth it - but it could turn out that some of them only live down the road I guess!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well I just submitted my C8 order, it took ages. about 2 hours of going through the cats for creative ordering, will start well in advance next time!
I keep thinking I forgot something! I think it is really sly that they charge you per campaign for the cats. I noticed when I went to subtotal that I was charged per campaign, i.e. I bought another 5 packs of C9 cats and I bought 8 packs of C10, I thought that additional packs would be cheaper so I went to buy 2 packs of C11, but noticed I was being charged £4.22 or something like that for them. So it's only the first 3 packs of each campaign then it goes to 48p per campaign, does that make sense?
Haven't exactly figured out how many cats I need yet, but so far I am banking on 50 just now as I haven't done my whole territory yet. Hopefully I can whittle it down a bit more by next time.
I don't even know how much it has come to. It came up total cost and my earnings, but I didn't really understand it. I also noticed some items were out of stock, but nothing major. I don't really know how much I need to pay AvonI guess I will know more once I see the invoice.
Still a bit worried though as I just have this nagging suspicion I have forgotten something, guess it's the OCD in me:rotfl:I sear I triple checked everything.Avon Rep
