Juat noticed on the Avon website that they have a recession busting brochure which seems to be campaign 7. Can I order from this? There are a few things such as the mobile lip gloss that I was thinking of putting in as a free gift for work colleagues that have spent over £20.Avon Rep

We've heard from lots of Representatives that a customer loyalty scheme would be a big bonus to your business, just like programmes used by high street stores. Avon's listened to your feedback and for only £10 we're introducing a Loyalty Pack to help you get started with your own programme.
You know your customers and what would excite them about Avon the best, and using our pack and your knowledge will be a winning combination. The pack includes 20 loyalty cards, five 24k gold lipsticks for rewarding customers and a handy guide for getting your programme up and running. Don't forget that you can replenish your range of loyalty gifts from Internet Exclusive Offers when you place your order online. Packs will feature in Hello Tomorrow from Campaign 13.
Just idly clicking around the website, I found this. Could be interesting? What do you think?
going to go check this out
sounds like a great ideaLife is what you make it;)0 -
Hi,
Desperately need some help please ....... I've just started doing Avon and have a question which I can't seem to find an answer on by doing a search (appolgies if I've just missed it )
When customers buy something that has a BOGOF available AND they HAVE ordered the BOGOF item .... how does this work when calculating commission .... ?
I guess what I'm trying to clarify is two things...
1) When customers put BOGOF's on the order form ... should they be putting in the amount of the product (ie 4.00) or should they be putting "0.00" as it's free ?
I've got orders for BOGOF's and some have done it one way - and some the other way .... so I'm now very confused, especially as they've all done the "order total" box differently as well .... some have listed the product amount in the product row ... but have not included it in the "total" box - others havent
2) Does the " actual price" of the BOGOF item count towards the count towards the commission level - even though it's a free product ?
oh and one more question....
3) What happens if a customer orders 2 x the same product from a BOGOF where it states "cheapest item free" .... do they still get one free ?
Probably very silly questions - but I want to make sure that I order correctly for the customers - especially as most of them are "old hands", as well as calculating the correct amount I can deduct for commission.
I would normally ask my manager - but they happen to be away on holiday - talk about bad timing on my part
Thanks in advance...
GAngel x

Hi GreyhoundAngel, I don't know the answer to your question as I am only new myself. No doubt someone will be along shortly who does though. I would have thought that BOGOF would mean the price would be entered as 0.00 and wouldn't count towards your commission, therefore not added to your total order. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though
How exactly do you work out your commission anyway? Do you pay Avon the full amount and they give you the commission or what?Avon Rep

Hi Greyhound Angel i will try and explain what I do with stuff like this.
I am a big OCD with stuff and everything has to be perfectly wrote down
SO I tend to rewrite my order forms and do write in
for example Campaign 8
Page no Product no description QTY Amount
page 100 07740 Solutions am cream 1 £8.00
page 101 38828 Solutions am.pm cleanser 1 £1.00
The offer is buy 1 choose 1 for a £1
and if it is BOGOF add o.oo next to the item so you know it is free
if it is a bonus bag I add it like the Anew bonus bags spend £20 get a free bag
Page no Product no description QTY Amount
pg 11 04804 Crows feet corrector 1 £20.00
pg 7 09167 **Free Bonus Bag** 1 £0.00
The subtotal should always recognise the reductions price wise but do double check it.
You don't make commision on the sale of a free item.
if they order 2 items BOGOF check with them if they want 1 + 1 free
or the want 2 + 2 free as they may have over looked the offer.
I maybe wrong but think Lozza or Elliebee may be able to help more xxxLife is what you make it;)0 -

No. Commission is based upon the value of the order. So sometimes it is better to order the full price item (or an extra something) to get you over MOV or to the higher commission levelHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Summer - you have done sooooo well!!
I collected from my second street today and NO orders, but about 6 people didn't leave out and weren't in so popped a note through their door saying I would be back tomorrow. One woman said she will order next time. So I put 18 more books out this afternoon to collect Monday, going onto territory in my estate I don't like - unsavoury characters, but that's only a small minority so I will soon work out who to deliver to eventually.
I'm about £20 off my MOV but my sister has taken a brochure today and she wants to treat herself to some decent eye cream, I recommended the Anew creams on the first few pages of C8 - plus she'll get her free treat and a free gift from me for spending over £15! Although she is only 28, she looks older than me (I'm 29), so don't think she'll feel too old getting the 30+ treat!!
Am so hoping I get a few more orders before order day - Thursday.
I figured that if I don't do my whole territory before this order I can put the rest of my territory on C8 and do what I have already done on C9 - does that make sense???0
