I'm hoping someone can help me - my Mum asked yesterday about an Avon product that is supposed to repel insects, I said I think it is one of the Skin So Soft products, a green one - but we had a look and I wasn't sure which one it would be!

Does anybody know??? Many thanks if you can help :D

  • lozza it's the SSS dry oil spray - green one - soft and fresh
    product code is 25742
    It's half price at £2.50 in C8

I have sold this on the basis that it repels insects. I believe it contains cintronella

    Hi,

I'm on C8 but have today recanvassed one of my roads (70 houses) with C7. I took out the sale booklets as some things order with my regular C7 were already sold out .

Anyway, one of the school mums who I don't know very well, is a s/world consultant and I overheard her telling another Mum that she was having to post leaflets this week to advertise her new morning class. I very nicely (cheekily) offered to post them through when recanvassing and guess what? she said she'd love a brochure and will take it to her classes too!! :T Hoping for some more orders this way.

Not doing too badly with this campaign but think I will spend most of my earnings on HT things to sell on at full price!!! Also I think they should offer samples of more of the products don't you? I'm ordering some fragrances this time round but it would be great to have some foot creams/hand lotions as samples wouldn't it??

Good luck with your sales everyone.

  • A question about Hello Tomorrow... If I buy some products from there to try and sell on full price, can I return them for credit if I don't sell them? Also how long can I order from the current HT for C8, can I order into the next campaign too?

Yes you can back order on HT like you can with the brochures. Not sure about returning though, but I imagine that can return just the same as I know that some people have returned demo products as they weren't happy with them.

How are you getting on with your territory?

  • Thanks for asking:T

I am due to collect 40 cats tomorrow, I have done almost one half of my territory now, probably have another 40 houses to do tomorrow. I am saving the other half of my territory for when C9 starts as I want one side of the street on cat 8 and one on cat 9, maximises my chances of creative ordering and reusing my cats. I have put in a cat to two hairdressers and one shop. I have 3 orders totalling £45, yet I know I have more orders to come in, plus my own. I am just hoping that I get somewhere with my territory, still unsure whether someone is already doing it, so I could be canvassing for nothing:mad: If I get no orders tomorrow, I may have to tell my SL, as so far I have only had one order from my territory.

That's really good then, you are nearly at MOV! Definately check with your SL about whether someone else has been allocated it, I know people have mentioned that this can happen as I think only your ASM will know overall who is doing where in your area, there can be overlap with SL's. It may be though that the last rep to do your territory was a bit rubbish, and so people are wary of ordering as they want to see if you are going to stick with it or not. Be interesting to see if you get orders from the hairdressers/shop, I haven't tried that yet!
