  • HI There

Are there any Sales Leaders on here who can tell me is it possible to work 9-3, be an Avon rep and a Sales Leader?

Do you earn enough to live?

    Thanks in advance.

    Love Anne

Yep I have had exactly the same problem with my C7 order tonight. 2 customer ordered 2 different soloution products and a Morgan bag each for £3.00. One comes up as £3 under PC 02501 and the other is full price £29.99 58610. I phoned customer service and they said to go ahead and place the order and if it is wrong on the paper work once it is delivered to give them another call and they would adjust it. Thought I was going nuts, but the fact that you have had the same thing means it is a problem with them, not us.

My customer has ordered the antler bag but thank you for confirming it's not only me having the problem ... have emailed them and await a reply ... my C7 order is due in Monday 10pm so hopefully an answer by then, if not I shall phone them to adjust it... thank you xx

OK, here is the first of my many questions!!
Is it best, for my first campaign at least, just to put the brochures out, no gimmicks and collect, put a simple order through, nothing from HT just to get used to how it all works and then, once I have made some profit, use that to spend on freebies etc for the next order?
Then with my next campaign lure them with offers like a free gift over x amount of orders?
    Thanks

    Hiya
    How big is your territory?
What you can do this campaign in surprise people,
anyone who does place a largish offer say 20quid plus
order them a little something from HT clearance ( or 4for£5 from main book ) that way you won't be out of pocket and when they get their free gift they may mention to neighbours who may then purchase themselves.
But it is up to you, I think if the territory has been let down by past avon reps then they may take some time to come around.
Freebies tend to win you customers you may miss prior to that.
Or what you can do is add a 10% off you first order as an indroductory offer ( remember to add whichever campaign it is, or else someone will try and use it next campaign ). ( if you hit your sales limit you still make 15% )

Think you need to lure them sooner than later for your campaigns to be successful xxx

I put the brochure with the collection day slip in front of it, and the order form facing the back. That makes it much easier when it comes to the turnaround of the books, the ones which have been put back the same way or not touched at all can be seen at a glance. I used to put them inside the brochure, but found exactly the same problem you mention..........live & learn :D
    Excellent idea, Elliebee... Thanks
And well done so far on C8!! :T

It's only a small estate that I live on, doesn't look too big, but actually it's probably about 100 houses!! I have lived their 2 years and there has never been an Avon rep since I have been here. My sales leader said she has been looking for someone to do this area for over a year! There are a few houses that I won't post too as I am very scared of them! Teenage kids can be very intimidating when they want to be! I only have 40 books also so want to gauge who will give books back.
So maybe I should say something like, as an introductory offer, as your new Avon rep, if you order over £20 or 25 you will get a mystery free gift? In HT10 there are some fab things for under £1! And I never thought of the 4 for £5! I am going to start with my road and the road off mine as I kind of know the people there, to ease me in!!

I think that sounds fine, I know where mines is concerned the hook is the most important but you need to keep them interested.
My freebie is orders over £15 mainly due to the fact that I have a small client base and £20-25 is just to much for most of them, but I do up the freebie with the cost of the order.
You will get to know your own customers hun.
Mystery free gift is always a good idea and I have copied Elliebee this time round and wrapped the freebie in tissue paper with some ribbon so they know thats the freebie makes it look better too ;)
    Good luck hun xxx

What a fab idea!! So much to do and so little time! I would like to get some sent out today but need to buy plastic freezer bags and have no way of printing out notes until Monday! Maybe I will nicely hand write some to get me started as I am impatient!! LOL! x

i think i fathomed out why the blue vanity bags appeared.they're the bags for the anew treats set but go down separately ( with their own code) on the list.dunno why there are 2 down tho cos i only have 1 treat ordered but hey i'm not complaining cos IF i do get 2 i can use the other 1 for a pressie :D

no creative ordering for me this campaign unfortunately however a customer has ordered 2 solutions products ( buy 1 get 1 4 £1) but in the last campaign (7) there's the bag for £3 on a £10 spend so might put to and get myself a cheap bag but i'm not sure as i quite like the cabin bag in HT10 as well-plus i don't know whether i'd keep the bag for myself or give as a pressie.decisions decisions
