Avon Hints and Tips (Part 2)

I didn't like the thought of getting her into trouble, but she's obviously not doing her job properly. You do really well with avon sales, I never get more than £100 of orders a campaign, but thats because I have a small territory and another rep stealing my customers!0

To be honest, I don't think Avon take much notice, as I had to ring a few times over the course of 2 weeks (later found out that she was awol due to the previously mentioned family problem) and they just kept saying they'd email & ring her, asked what would happen if she didn't get back in touch within 2 weeks, and they said they couldn't say, would need to ring back again after that point! But, I think it doesn't give them a nudge in the right direction!
That's awful, when I thought I had a rep stealing customers I emailed my ASM, and she said she could do with her name & phone number if poss - do you have that? If people are leaving her books outside, could you take a sneaky peak at the order form to get those details? (apologies if you already have!) as it would definately help her to get the situation sorted.
I have no idea how I've managed to do so well tbh, my first campaign I got about £345, and my other totals you can see. At least £100-150 is from family/work colleagues/work colleagues wives lol, and the rest from territory. I was pretty lucky, and was given 180 houses to start with, asked for some more and she gave me another 120 (though it was after she didn't get in touch for 2 weeks, so might be why she didn't like to say no lol). How many houses do you have? Worth asking for more if it's possible, if you don't ask you don't get!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well I am really excited a SL is coming tomorrow so I will hopefully be able to call myself one of the gang! Do I need any ID or anything like that? What if I don't have a credit card? To be honest I use my husband's card all the time for online purchases as we share the same account.
Do you think a payslip would do for ID? All my other letters or my bank statement is still in my maiden name, never have got round to changing it over and that is almost 2 years ago, LOL!
As I am off work tomorrow, I am hoping to start a plan on how to attack my territory, I am hoping that she can assign me the houses tomorrow so I can get started asap. Does anyone know where I can get the bags to put the Avon books in?
Thanks again for all your help so far:TAvon Rep

These are the people i use for my bags - they're reasonably priced and the bags are good quality and last well.

I know when my rep signed me up I showed her two forms of id
one was my tenancy agreement and the other was a gas bill.
I am sure If you let her know maiden name she will be able to sort it.Life is what you make it;)0 -

I buy the 8 x 11 which are a good size for the normal brochures and even just coped with the larger one we had for C17 last year. You can buy anything from 50 upwards I think, and they get cheaper the more you buy.
They apparently sell loads of them to Avon reps, and if you look at the illustration, they show an Avon book beside it for size comparison.'Better to ask a silly question than to make a silly mistake' Elliebee's Mum

Depends what you mean by charges. It could be either an admin charge if you are in debt to them and haven't paid anything, or a product specific recharge if you've previously claimed a credit but haven't returned the item to them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Okay so my SL has just left and she has given me 20 cats 09 and 20 cats 08. I also have a Hello Tomorrow Campaign 10, order forms and some stuff to read through. I am pretty excited am going to have a look at the stuff just now. However, I filled out the contract and she informed me of the credit check, this I am worried about!
I got into a lot of debt about 4 years ago, when I lost my job but in the last few years I have set up payments to all my creditors and make timely, monthly, small payments to them all. I do know though that if I went for a new credit agreement, then I would most definitely be declined! I have no new credit agreements as I am trying my best to get out of debt. I am really worried that I will get declined based on the credit score. Does anyone know if this is a full credit check, seems strange that it would be as the amount of info the contract asks for is minimal. I don't know if I should wait before I start delivering my cats as I'm worried I will be declined. Anyone know how long this takes to go through?
Thanks again ladies.Avon Rep
