I placed a tiny order for Campaign 1 - I was going to miss it but in the christmas card to them all I did mention I was missing it but if anyone wanted anything I would place an order.
2-3 did want stuff so I ordered it. £53 order.
But it gave people the choice and the option which they appreciated.
I would maybe do, it every 6wks for the customers who are asking,
just mark it on your calling book trust me you will get more respect and more trust from asking them.
I think you would get confused doing different streets per campaign.
especially if you are splitting campaigns. just my opinion.
I think you are right I would get confused doing different streets per campaign. Also I was going to ask the customers which they prefer 3 or 6 weeks. I was going to do a note with boxes so that they can tick which one they prefer. I think I might get confused with that also, having some of my customers on 3 weeks and some on 6 weeks. Have had a really long think about it and unless customers ask me I will give them a book every campaign. Thank you for your input. It's good to get other peoples opinion on things.0 -
I know most of my customers like to see the book every time, even if they don't end up ordering. They don't want to miss a good offer. Several of them make sure I'll still drop another one off even if they're not ordering this time and have a few phone/text me to check when I'll be dropping the new book off
Going to sort lots more books for delivering, should get my new territory finished before my order goes in thanks to the extra books off ASM :T
Thanks Melvis. I don't get people ringing me yet for the next book. I do get people saying they don't want anything this time but they want the next book still.
I did have one lady that ordered last time and when I went to pick up her new book she said there is something I want but I don't get paid til the 28th (my delivery dates were 23-25th) so I said I can deliver on the 28th if that's easier for you. She was well pleased, so I was thinking of putting a note in with the books saying if they prefer a different delivery date I can deliver up to 5 days later.0 -
I do that as well! I just put near the bottom
Your order total is: ______
And if anything was out of stock, then I mention it in the letter, saying sorry for any inconvenience. Thank them for their custom, and then my name. I've decided to give a free gift every time someone orders six times (got a few free things from creative ordering, and some bits in the sales ready) so I also put at the bottom of the letter how they are doing with orders, I'm hoping it will make them more likely to order every time.
Good idea Lozza. Do you ever get Avon saying something is out of stock then you find it in your delivery?0 -
I wish they'd just spread the brochures a bit further apart - even 4wks would be better... 18 in a year seems to be pushing it some. Mind you, I work shifts that are all over the place so I can't get into a routine with it, which makes it a little difficult.
Hi Pam
I agree that the brochures should be further apart, even without doing shifts it's difficult to get into a routine, as one time might have more orders than others. I am just about to put in my 5th order and still not in a routine and I work regular hours.0 -
I have to say if something shows up as out of stock then I delete it off my order - didn't want to risk being sent an alternative item as don't want the hassle of seeing if people want the alternative item, so haven't had any surprises in my orders so far - aside from items missing even though they are on the invoice!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

For the sale/offer booklets, I do include them but only cos I figure my customers wouldn't order otherwise - I've found lots of people order the cheap sale items, but if the booklet wasn't there, I doubt that they would order from the actual book! You'll find what's best for yourself & your customers - maybe just give them to your family/friends, and maybe your best customers?
I also include the sales leaflet as I feel the same in that they probably wouldn't even look at the brochure without it. I have quite a few customers order from the sales book and the brochure that probably wouldn't even have looked if the leaflet wasn't there. I definitely believe that they up your sales.0 -
I came across this earlier - something I did for our new lad when I worked in a lighting shop. It struck me that it might ring a bell or two with you lot

I like that, and am one of those people unfortunetly,
Who is ALWAYS rightI am sure my stafff hated me when I trained them up, but in my defense they all respected me and they were the top workers when I trained them.
I had 9wks to train them and 8-10 were ready to go it alone in 6wks.

You do what is best hun, everyone works out a system that works for them, I am sure it will maybe take 3 campaigns then you will be happy with your system.Life is what you make it;)0 -
Quick question guys,
are the boxes/packs of brochures ALWAYS charged in 2 campaigns time? also i just looked at my online invoice and it says that items included at no cost is as follows
10 packs order forms
3 HT
I assume that 3 HT is 3 individual catalogues, is there any way of ordering more HT to be included with this additional order? and does anyone know why i was charged 2.50 for an additional order yet i haven't been for items included in the above order?
Thx guys x0
